That is VERY impressive! You may want to check out the Slingshot, I know a lot of big lifters who've sustained a pile of injuries use it because it lets them work the full range of motion with a heavier weight. I have used it too, and it's done a good job at helping me bring my bench up.

I was told not to go over 350 pounds on the bench after my left tricep tendon rupture 9 years ago.
Took me a long time coming back to get my arm size and bench back up.
My tricep was hanging like a side of beef after it happened.

Not looking to break records any more.
I do board work floor presses and other movements too but would not want to have another rupture .
I am trying to get the 100 pound dumbells for 20 reps.
Did a 350 Bench on my Birthday which at this point is as far as I want to go..
Trust me I was in gyms back in the 70's when it was not popular to workout like now.

The NFL Combine bench is 245, so consider yourself a stud.

Quick question, did you get surgery or anything to rehab the tricep? I would go to a well know sports doctor or specialists. Go to someone who works with athletes that are at elite levels like pro or olympic athletes. I have seen people be able to bounce back from injuries that otherwise could of been career ending.

I would think that they would be able to give you some good stuff to work on to increase your strength.

That is awesome! I'm a lanky type, never could push a lot lot of weight but can do some stupid chinups/pullups and windshield wipers yet at 54. I have been working out steadily since middle school so I have that going for me but no one should wait another day to get the workout going if they're behind the power curve. A huge portion of the aging decay can be LONG deferred with excercise. Hard exercise. Great lift OP!

Working out with 100lb dumbells is just crazy strong and for 17 reps!

surgery was done the same week
Rehab for a long time
The guy who worked on me was a Surgeon for the state football team.
As far as some good stuff to work on to increase my strength I think I am doing good for a guy my age..

I am 6 feet 4 inches use to be 278 pounds in good shape.
Now trimmed down to 250 pounds
My best Dumbbell press back in the day was a pair of 150's for 8 on the Incline bench.
Inclines now hurt my shoulders so I do smith machine Inclines...
I did the 100's for 20 reps last year and should be able to do it again soon.
