Does anyone make a quality Glock FO front sight that is 0.090 wide or even narrower?

I currently run a 0.105 Dawson green FO front but would just like to try a narrower front sight. When I contacted Dawson they said they could not make a Glock front sight narrower than 0.105 as the screw holding the front sight in place would not fit.

Worst case scenario, could you mill a dovetail into a Glock slide to accept 1911 sights?

Is it really a narrower front sight you want, or just more light between it and the rear notch? If it's the latter, you can always open up the rear notch width.

I would prefer a narrower front sight to give a finer aiming point. And more light on the sights would not hurt, though it isn't my primary concern.

I have used narrower front sights on 1911's and 22lr pistols in the past and really like them.

I have not heard of any, let alone from a manufacturer that I would trust.

I don’t recall anyone making anything narrower than that for Glock. The mounting solution doesn’t allow for that small of a front sight. Unsure if there is enough material in that part of the slide to mill out a dovetail.
