I was bummed to hear this news too. He had an amazing career and was a lot of fun to watch too. Surely the Hall of Fame is in his future.

With Beltre and Jason Witten retiring in the same year it is definitely a rough time for Texas sports fans. Not too many people in sports worth looking up to anymore, but they were both great players and great men.

Knew is was coming but it still stings. Actually think he’s a bit underrated outside of Texas. He certainly is the glue that held this team together for years. Great player who had fun playing the game. Elvis Andrus will miss him the most.
