View Full Version : Does anyone sell Glock 26 slides?

Was hoping to try a Polymer 80 build for a Gloxk 26, but it seems almost impossible to find anyone selling slides at all. The very few I saw that are presently available cost more than a complete gun.

It looks like Brownells is doing a pre-order for RMR-cut slides, but that was the only reasonably priced slide I could find, and I don't need an RMR for my application.

Thanks in advance!

Suarez, but you are talking three bills to start....I really don't want a Suarez slide, because of his desire to put trademark logos, in huge size, on them. BUT he has many of the features I want in a slide, I may just have to do it anyway.

Wound up buying, then returning a Poly 80 sub assembly when it became clear that it would cost me more than just buying a Glock 26.

That is the conclusion I am rapidly drawing as well, although .22 lr conversion units are available for the 26, giving the project some potential redeeming value.

I’m very happy with my Suarez slides FWIW (19 and 17 though).

Steel City Arsenal has them too, but I’ve no experience with them. I know they don’t use Lone Wolf slides (I asked). I do like and use their sights.

Might have to look them up on Amazon or the ‘bay to find current inventory.

The folks making the blank slides for them are on their first run.

The company I work for, Lone Wolf Distributors also makes Glock 26 slides, and unlike Suarez no one at our company has ever been convicted of money laundering and fraud.

https://lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=921537 That’s our slide with an OEM style serration. They might be on backorder as they were never a popular item and we don’t make huge batches of them.

That spintaprecision offering is much closer to what I was hoping to pay. Anyone have any experience with them?

The Brownells preorder is also interesting. Having an RMR cut that I don’t need would seem unlikely to be a detriment to anything but the appearance.

Thank you for the link. Your company came up in multiple searches but prior to today I was unable to get to the website. Looks like a very good option.

I do appreciate the other replies as well. I am amazed that G26 slides are not more common or popular. G19 and G17 are plentiful, and a few G43 options appear to exist.

I haven't used their Glock stuff but I've built a couple of 9mm AR pistols with their bolts and barrels and had no issues.

The SpintaPrecision slide arrived today. While this is far from a complete test, I put it on my Glock 26 with no slide components in the slide, and hand-cycled a bunch of plastic dummy rounds. It seemed to work smoothly, so I am hopeful that it will work well when I install components and try to shoot with it.

I am not a huge fan of the color or lack of grasping grooves, but given the small number of other options available and the quality for price of this slide (assuming that holds up when I shoot with it), I do not consider these to be huge issues.

Just looked it up. No serrations at all...that’s usually for when you want a blank slide and plan to have it milled elsewhere. Any plans for that?

Not at this point. I was just looking for something that works and that doesn’t cost as much as an entire gun.

Thank you for posting, but this is clearly going to mandate some machining with no rear sight dovetail.

Realistically, no rear serrations says the same thing. Both are intended for customization.
