Short version: Will an East German AK74 bolt carrier work in a Saiga 5.56 rifle?

I have a Saiga 5.56 rifle that I was going to try a KNS adjustable gas piston in. I don't have access to a drill press so I thought it might be worth a shot to just get a new carrier. Would also make it easy to go back to stock for whatever reason. Found an East German carrier online for $50 so I wanted to make sure they were interchangeable before I ordered it.

I think the Romanian SAR-3 has a unique bolt.

Thanks. I asked over on the AKfiles and was told it would but a member there also offered to sell me one for a better deal so I bought that instead. Should show up just in time for me to install the piston and take it to the range this weekend.
