Anyone here ever try one of these?

Looks like a pretty well thought out design. Just wondering why I've never heard of them before. Maybe not out long enough...

I have two, one for a G19/G17 and one for a G43. I like them. They’re nice and slim, conceal really well for me (but that’s a personal thing). Work really well with the discrete carry clips too.
The guy who runs the company is awesome. I stripped one of the screws for one of my clips. I was going to buy an extra set from the website but couldn’t find them. I sent him an email and he had a set of clips in the mail to me next day. I was totally willing to pay (I mean of course, this was my fault), but he sent them free. Awesome service and a great guy.

Thats awesome! Glad they work well for you and have great service. Have you ever used a holster with a foam wedge? I'm wondering how the kydex wedge compares, comfort wise, to the foam wedge?

Search Tenicor, there's been some talk. The owner is a member of the forum, I'll assume he just got a lot busier now that he's Defoor's holster of choice.

I’ve used mastermind holsters and JM Custom with foam wedges and pads, and also the extra tuck molded in on the JM.
I was kind of worried about the kydex wedge being less comfortable, but it’s no big deal. I also don’t really like big foam wedges, and usually gravitated more to the pads instead.
I was worried about hot spots and crap like that but it’s really a very comfortable holster and conceals well on me. I’d buy it again.

I've yet to find a wedge or pad configuration that I can tolerate for any period of time. The kydex wedge design is interesting and has some horizontal roll or twist build in to it, but what if it isn't working out? No way out...

I really like this holster, but not the built in wedge. I'm about to cut it off, so I can put on a normal wedge.
I just picked up a velo to replace my incog for my g43 which I’ve had for close to two years but really didn’t do it for me. On the velo I had to smooth out the bottom half of the holster near the trigger guard since it was tearing up the knuckle on my middle finger after only a handful of draws. Still tweaking the clip position but it conceals 10x better than my incog but not quite as well as my eidolon which hides my 19 better than the velo hides my 43.

Mine arrived today. I got the model with fixed soft loops. It took a few tries to like it, but after playing with all three holes and moving it more center-line I finally found the “sweet spot.” This will replace my JMCK Wing Claw 2.0.

defoorproformanceshootingAfter months of searching this is my AIWB holster of choice now. It’s called the Velo and made by @tenicorusa. Pictured is my G43 version. I also have the G19 version and use both regularly.

This holster has no contemporary at present; one piece design with a molded in wedge as part of it, smartest sweatguard ever, complete coverage of muzzle no matter how you move, large enough opening to let brass fall through, @sayocglobal clip system manufactured by @discreetcarryconcepts with echeloned screw holes, ability to use one or two clips. Great retention that can be adjusted to suit different preferences. •
All of these traits make the Velo perform great during combatives, hot summer months, with or without multiple clothes, on motorcycles, running, climbing and during long, multi day range sessions.
•
My highest recommendation and I’m stoked to have found this USA made company and to be associated with them.

I have one each of their Velo AIWB and Certum strong side IWBs, I really like both but I haven't used a lot of other AIWB holsters. The Certum is one of the best IWBs I've used and has some subtle features athat really amke it stand out. The polymer is a little more flexible than I'm used to with kydex so I'm not sure if it's kydex or something else. In any case it's a nice material that seems really durable. Retention and draw are right on. I like the triangle three hole configuration for the loop/clips/whatever you use and the metal clips allow height adjustment. The included hardware is high quality stuff. Finally, they conceal better than anything else I've used. The new Glock 45 conceals no problem. After a few range sessions I'm making these my go-to holsters for small frame Glocks.

I just got one and started wearing it. Just for grins today I did a mini road trip one hour each way to a friend's house. T-shit and shorts. It's comfortable even sitting in the car. It conceals ridiculously well without dicking around with wedges. It's well made and shipped fast. The steel clips are convenient while staying within my comfort level for retention. After asking them, neither the friend nor his wife realized I was carrying a handgun.
I have the Velo and Certum. Initially, I tried to use the Certum for AIWB using the RCS wing. The holster is solid but I'm not a fan of those fat clips. I ordered the Velo and tried it. I hated it. The wedge dug into me and caused tons of discomfort. I threw it back in the drawer and forgot about it. In fact, I was about to return them for a refund. Once I saw Kyle Defoor, Bill Blowers, and a few others raving about it, I gave it another shot. I moved the holster over slightly, and wow. There was no discomfort at all. I've tried multiple holsters from Bravo Concealment, TRex Arms, and other various manufacturers and thought I found the perfect holster when I began to use the Trex Raptor. The Velo is now my go-to. It conceals better than any other holster out at the moment, all while maintaining a small footprint. I'm still debating on sending the Certum back and just picking up an Arx, but I'm definitely going to pick up another Velo for my 19. If you carry a G43, the Velo is without a doubt the best holster on the market. Tenicor is the real deal.

Many of the popular holsters for AIWB are really designed for speed and not concealment. (Great for the 'grams!) As such they are optimized to carry close to the mid line. The VELO is optimized for concealment and for most people carrying closers to the hip point is more concealable.
Alex, I am glad you gave it another shot. Subtle adjustments to fine tune both ride height and position on the belt is extremely important to concealment, comfort, and performance. The VELO is designed to work with most people just in front of the hip point. Essentially, you need to move the holster around on your body until you find the spot where the molded in wedge sits flat against the body. If it is not at the right angle and the point of the wedge is pressing against your body, then obviously that would be extremely uncomfortable.

The 1.0 and 2.0 are pretty different, a universal fit was my original plan, but the fit did not meet our standards for a holster. No current plans to add the 1.0. Thanks!
Four month update regarding the Velo: Still the best. After seeing the updates to the Certum on Tenicor's website, that'll be an interesting contender for people who dislike wedges. The quality of these holsters is impressive. Drove from Texas to Arkansas and back with a 19 in a Velo and didn't feel a thing. For what it's worth I'm 155 lbs with a 30" waist and had virtually zero printing.

How is everyone liking their Velo’s? I go back and forth between carrying the G19 and G26, but lately wanted to carry AIWB more often. I prefer the G19 in the appendix position, so I decided to try the Velo.
After two weeks, I am hooked. I’ve always split the belt loop when I carried appendix, so the angled wedge at the bottom of the holster rests perfectly flat against me.
This may be a unique situation, but I find the molded plastic wedge more comfortable than a foam wedge. Additionally, the elevated portion near the trigger guard does a nice job tucking the grip, without needing a wing.
The only concern I have is long term use, since the kydex is quite thin; however the thinness and the DCC clips add to the concealment of the holster.
I forgot how much faster I am with a G19 vs a G26. :o

I split about 50/50 with the Velo and JMCK 2.0. I can't declare a clear winner between the two. Most of the time it comes down to the pants I'm wearing and belt loop position. My Velo has the DCC clips and my JMCK has PTD loops. I know the clips are all the rage, but if I had to pick one I'd go with the loops. I find them easier to manage and I don't see a difference for me in concealment.
Both holsters I mentioned are great, and each do what they do very well. If I want / need to wear closer to the hip (1:30 - 1:45) the Velo does it a little better than the JMCK. By the same token, if I carry in front of a belt loop more towards centerline (12:30 - 1:00) the JMCK wins.

Another +1 for the Velo here. I picked up a used G19 Velo for a good price on the local gun boards expecting to sell it if/when it didn't work out for me like many other wedge holster designs have done. Turns it it makes concealing my G19.4+ACRO almost as easy as concealing my G48 in a Morrigan. My non-optics G19 disappears with it. Bought a new G48 Velo from SKD last weekend, received it yesterday, and discovered it's the first tuckable holster I've ever owned that not only has the capability to be worn tucked in, but actually conceals the damn gun when doing so. A Certum or ARX will definitely be on my short list for suit/jacket carry down the line.

Lots of folks cut them. Doing it just at the top of the slide stop blocking. A sanding sponge works well to clean up and round the edges/corners.
Very happy with my G19 riding in a Velvo. Was skeptical about the lack of a soft wedge but wearing it directly over my inguinal crease works great and is very comfortable. Short of a NPE where I have to tuck my shirt, the Velvo is my preferred setup. DCC clips get some taking use to because they really, really grip but offer a great balance between ease of removal and security.
The Velo is on sale 15% right now. According to Tenicor's official instagram a gen 4 variation of the Velo is set to be released shortly, most likely at Triggercon 2019. I've been using a gen 2 for 8+ months now for both the 43 and 19/26, I'll most likely be upgrading to a gen 4 just because. It seems a WML option may be set to release shortly according to little hints posted on instagram, but no plans for the x300.

Hi,
I believe you have the gen 2, which was the first Velo that offered the t1 clips. The gen 3 was released alongside the G43X/G48 holster which had a revised sight channel and square hardware that was captured via new molding within the holster. Virtually zero different between gen 2 and 3. Apparently the gen 4 is going to offer something a little more.

So far I’ve found that a wing has been more important than the wedge in order for a holster to conceal well for me. I don’t know if this will be as revolutionary as some are saying but I’m curious. I’ll see if I can find someone to let me try one out when it’s released.
Larry T

Jeff says in the Instagram clip "The wedge is dead...". The new contour looks like a larger version of the PHLster Classic Teardrop. I'll be interested to see how the new version works versus the old when wearing a little closer to 1:00 compared to 2:00. As it is now, I rotate between the Velo and JMCK 2.0 depending on belt loop position and how close to the hip crease I need to wear.
In addition to the new wedge/teardrop design, they're apparently doing a TLR7 AIWB and TLR7 ARX.
I've experimented with adding foam to reshape the wedge on mine. The sharp angle gives me a hotspot at times which the foam eliminates. I think the newer design would be better still.

How do these compare to the JMCK WC 2.5? I dont *need* another holster and would rather spend the money on ammo and mags at the moment, but if it is a dramatic improvement in comfort/concealability i will consider it.I have WC 2.0s and gen 3 Velos for my G43 and G19 and really like both of them. They have a lot in common, and the differences come down to pretty subtle details.
The Velos feel more compact since the "wing" is built into the mold. The Velos also seem to have a better fit for my particular guns, but both have frame modifications so that likely won't apply to all guns.
The shape of the built in wedge on gen 3 Velos doesn't work great for me, so I'm hoping the gen 4 fixes that for me. Because of that the WC 2.0 is more comfortable for me with a foam wedge.
I really like the idea of a built in wedge. It gets hot here in Texas and the foam can occasionally trap moisture from sweat and cause skin irritation for me. The built in wedge also makes putting the holster on and removing it a bit easier.
I slightly prefer the clip locations on the WC 2.0 as the wide distance creates a stable platform and can help prevent printing from an optic. The Velo does well with this too, but not quite as good which is the trade-off for being so compact.

I echo almost everything you said with the JMCK 2.0 and Velo. I carry a 17 and 19 in them and sometimes it comes down to where the belt loops are on my pants. I hope Jeff puts something out on why he dropped the wedge in favor of the new "body contour" and how the two approaches compare. I'm guessing this new design will be better for all the cool kids who carry closer to center-line.
Holster is now molded with a body contour rather than a wedge. Looks promising.
JMCK was doing that with their ‘extra tuck option’ years ago. I wouldn’t call it a step backwards but it’s no novelty.

OK, yet another holster on order.
I like the built in wedge of the v2 as I find foam hot in the summer. I like the wider clip spacing of the JM but now I’m back to a foam wedge for optimal concealment in the summer.
Maybe this is the one. Maybe.
I took the plunge and bought a Sagax Lux and a TLR7. Maybe this'll be what pushes me over the edge into carrying a WML, since I'm unwilling to do an X300-size light AIWB.
I've come full circle back to the built-in wedge. As noted above, high heat and humidity can make foam uncomfortable. Also as noted above, JMCK was doing this seven years ago when I bought my first real AIWB holster. I'm really hoping Tenicor's newer wedge design will get rid of the hot spot I sometimes get on the V3 Velo.

Would anyone who has a new (Gen4?) Velo mind telling me if you’ve been able to remove and replace the hardware used to secure the belt attachments to the holster?
When I had a Velo (which seemed like a very good holster, but which I returned for several reasons), the nuts on the inside of the holster were round and nearly impossible to grip when turning the screws, thereby making adjustments to the size of the belt loops very difficult.
This is a detail, doubtless, but an important one for those who need the belt loops to be adjusted from the size set by the manufacturer. I prefer 1.75” belts, hence the concern.

I also want to wait for the TLR7 models with the new switches to be available.

My Velo (v3, not the newest one) has square nuts and molding that captures those. Looks like they've retained that feature on the V4, so that should solve your issue.
I wonder why Jeff is offering 17, 19, and 26 in separate lengths now? I'll shoot him a message on insta and see what he says.

Thanks. I purchased my Velo (not sure which generation) in early 2019. Maybe some have this problem and some don’t.

Hello Alexander,
We did add more specific sizes for various gun models. While your assumption about holster length and leverage is correct, we think it is only a factor to a certain degree (once you hit a certain length threshold, adding more doesn’t aid concealment). Additionally, we have transitioned away from a molded wedge to a body contour on the inside of the holster. This fills in the “empty space” that can occur between the holster and your body when using a wedge. One of the effects of the body contour is that it has allowed us to depend a little less on length to get the leverage necessary to keep the gun tucked against the torso. And so, with the GEN4 VELO, we decided to offer more personalized options by gun model since we think we have figured out how to offer those holsters without compromising concealment and comfort.
Thanks,

Hey Guys thanks for your interest in the new products and updates.
VELO Generation Questions:
Gen1 = April 2018 to July 2018 | crappy clips, crappy sweat guard, etc but still a decent holster
Gen2 = July 2018 to Jan 2019(for Glock, some stuff stayed on Gen2) | DCC T1 clips, wider wedge, new sweat guard
Gen3 = Jan2019 to July 2019 | captured nuts for T1s and loops. Added button protection for the RMR, new sight channel
Gen4 = July 2019 and on | We eliminated the wedge and replaced it with the BODY CONTOUR.
The Body Contour was born out of the creation of the SAGAX LUX. The SL was created for a very specific client who needed an AIWB holster with a concealment light that actually concealed. (i.e. you go to foreign prison if they find you have a gun). Really, this was the result of about 5 years of slow trial and error trying to build a WML holster that worked to our performance standards. I am sure it can be better, but based on everything I know right now it is the best I can do. However, based on the track record thus far with the VELO, my guess is new synergies will happen and the SL will continue to improve as the VELO has.
For years, I have been quiet and just tinkered on the sidelines. I am pretty well aware of most things in the industry over the last 20 years. I have carried daily (privately and professionally) during that time and been an overly analytical gear nut all those years as well. I have been designing holsters since 2006ish. I didn’t sell anything until 2017 because I couldn’t make anything that met all my performance and quality standards until then. Even with that, I believe the products coming out of the shop today make the 2017 stuff look like child’s play.
I haven’t seen everything, but in the holster space, it is likely that I have tinkered, deconstructed or tested any products considered for serious use. There are lots of companies that make great quality gear and most of the gear you guys talk about on this forum is good quality stuff that is worth the money and worth the use. From my perspective, I am on good terms with all the other companies in the holster space (at least the ones where I have met/worked with the people involved).
That being said, my objective for Tenicor is to make the highest performing product in its category. This is a lofty goal and ultimately it is for the customer to decide. But when we release a product it is because we believe it is the best. (I hope my competition also feels the same about their product and shares that with the world.)
In my experience, the BODY CONTOUR is truly unique. It is the result of a development process that starts with the end state (all day comfort and concealment) and works back to the holster. Based on what I have seen out there, I’d wager this is the opposite of how most wedges are created. Most start with the holster and add stuff until they think it is good enough. Whether it is a yoga block, insole, or molded on the holster. (I can think of one other exception, but I don’t actually know the process, DSG…).
DanM…yes, a wing might be more important than a wedge, but the Body Contour is something different.
Larry T…The Body Contour is nothing like John’s molded in wedge. (props to him for a good holster). We don’t care about the cool kids and being instafamous. We build stuff that works, period. The BC is for serious concealment that belongs close to the hip point.
Ssb…the body contour is designed to make full and consistent contact with the body eliminating hots spots for the vast majority of people.
Nephrology…we think it is a big deal, so big I’d just throw away a Gen3 VELO and buy this ;-)
Dontshakepandas…the Body Contour is pretty dissimilar to the previous gen3 wedge, hence the different name. Not sure about SL in G17. No demand on the Gov side currently but that might change.
JAD…we are familiar with Tony’s products and he makes great holsters. We highly recommend them if there is one that works for you. However, the Body Contour is different than anything we have seen in both comfort and performance. It is hard to show or describe, you kinda have to experience it.
Le Francais…from Gen3 forward all the hardware is captured. We are not aware of any other thermoformer that is doing this and it is a vast improvement in security and performance.
Alex…we have had lots of demand for model specific holsters, particularly on the GOV side. Hence, we are going to try it for awhile and see how it goes. For Glock, the Body Contour is in the same location on all holsters. The difference is muzzle coverage. For the 26 and other subcompacts we have what is called a Concealment Cut. The backside length is dictated by the BC and the front side is dictated by the hardware. It is much shorter. Many female customers wanted this as tighter fit clothing made it look like they had an extra appendage.

Why doesn’t the sweat guard on the Velo for the G48 go all the way to the end of the slide? I was interested in purchasing one, but I run Trijicon HDs on my Glocks. Those things are sharp. If the sweat guard doesn’t cover the sight all the way to the end of the slide that’s a no go for me.

Mine arrived today and my initial thoughts from trying it on are favorable.
The body contour definitely feels better than the wedge on the old version to me.
If I had known that the holster length doesn't affect the contour location for this generation I may have went with the Glock 19 length since I don't ever carry anything longer than that, but the extra length wasn't noticable.
I do think I'd prefer having the contour a bit further towards the muzzle. Having the location vary with the length of the holster may give people a little flexibility to deal with variances in body type, ride height, and pants waist height. I think it's hard to come up with one specific setup that will work for everyone.
I think an adjustable body contour that could be removed or attached like a Raven Eidolon pad but in multiple height locations would be amazing. I think Tenicor is on to something with the shape, so the ability to really dial it in to what works for your body type would be a game changer.
The only other thing I'm not sure I care for it's the ledge to "protect" RMR buttons. I understand what they are going for with that ledge, but I've never had an issue with the brightness being thanks inadvertently. I do adjust my RMR under my shirt throughout the day as I move through different lighting environments and this feature my block my access to the button. However, if it isn't something I can learn to work around I can always reshape the plastic a bit in that area to solve the problem.
The attached photo shows the body contour on the left and the old wedge on the right.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190725/75c4bb12d1f674032edca1103b36f0ac.jpg

My Sagax is in. Initial impressions on the body contour are very favorable. Concealment is on par with my Gen 3 Velo using the medium sized wing. Thus far, very comfortable. Retention feels a little different than the Velo and I had to crank it down more to get it to where I like it, but that's probably a function of having the WML (I'm not used to having one). I'd almost describe it as like a leather holster, where there's friction all over as opposed to clicking in at a few points.

Is the retention adequate without a light as well?
Since the holster allows part of some lights to be exposed at the bottom, do you think it would be possible for something to contact the light at that point and knock the gun loose? I've had this happen with open bottomed holsters where the slide extends and it was enough to develop a bit of a complex.
Is the retention adequate without a light as well?
Yes. The retention is very similar without the gun, though a bit less drag on the draw. Were I using the Sagax as a dedicated non-WML holster, I would crank it down a bit tighter -- but that's why the Velo exists, so why do that?. It takes a little more finesse to holster without the light, but once the gun is in the molded track it goes in just fine.

Possible but not probable. It'd really be one of those perfect storm sort of things given where the light is located. But yes, given enough force, I can push the gun up with my finger. However, as noted above, the retention on this holster seems to have friction all over, sort of like a leather holster. It's not a gun bucket when the gun isn't fully seated, and with my current retention setting, I can actually push the light in to where the bezel is flush with the kydex, turn the (unloaded, obviously...) gun upside down, and shake it pretty vigorously. The gun is still retained*.

*Yes, I'm aware of the criticisms of the "shake test," but it illustrates a point here.
My first range trip with the Sagax Lux went well.
As I have it configured, it's fast. I was consistently in the high 1.3s/low 1.4s range to B8s out to 7 yards, and the fastest draw of the day was a 1.31s hit to the black at 5 yards to start the 5 yard string of the Super Test. Draws to a 3x5 at 7 yards were in the mid-1.6s range, whereas my run at a Defoor hat test produced a 1.82s draw.
Comfort is vastly superior to the Gen 3 Velo (wedge design) on my body. First, the hot spot created by the wedge is eliminated. Second, the shorter muzzle no longer provides for a hot spot when seated. Both holsters use a squared-off muzzle which would accommodate a compensator or longer slide, but my preference would be for a rounded-off bottom. Nevertheless, as this holster is a tad longer than Glock 19 length, it doesn't present that issue for me. This is some of the most comfortable kydex I've ever carried.
Carry and concealment are similar excellent. Concealment is at or above my Gen 3 Velo and rivals my experiences with the 5-Shot Leather SME, though without the belt bulge. The holster is stable. I like the adjustable claw/whatever they call it and am currently using the medium size. I don't know that I'd need a large: the grip stays flat to my stomach as is, and the rotation is sufficient to where I'm concerned that any more would make my RMR print significantly. The holster is very stable: there is no roll-out, and the holster stays put in the position it's left in (i.e. doesn't shift throughout the day).
The DCC/T1 clips are, as everybody knows, excellent. After using them since February I really can't imagine using anything else for IWB carry. They're just that good, and have obsoleted soft loops for me.
In sum, it's letting me carry a WML-equipped RMR'd Glock with a high degree of comfort and concealment without compromising access. I think it's worth every penny.

I actually took mine off because it gets hung up on both of mine. I'm surprised they did not adjust the mold to accommodate for that. However, Jeff does has a video on instagram regarding this issue and he suggests just relieving the area like you said.

I took my Lux to the range for the first trip last night. I think the holster and I are melding a bit better now. After a day or two of wearing it around the house it seems more comfortable and more concealable. This is the first holster I have been able to run a Glock 17 and my wife said it was passing.
A couple of observations, if you have a reshaped slide or bottom of your trigger guard you could run into issues. I believe that is where the friction retention seems to come from. Lastly the combination of the largest cam block and the dcc clips makes it a little complicated to get on and off but it isn't a deal breaker for me.

brief experience with the tenicor velo for the G17. i really cannot say anything but good things about their design and service. as pointed out elsewhere the unique feature of the velo is that most of the grip rotation is achieved through a large angular wedge. basically the medial aspect of your quadriceps (thigh) will interact with the wedge and create a force that both tucks the pistol in towards the waist and rotates the grip inward. very clever design.
pros
-very well thought out, clever design
-attention paid to every detail
-excellent construction
cons
-the type of retention seemed unusual to me. rather than a "click in place" sensation there was simply stiff resistance in and out of the holster. i'm not saying this is good or bad, I just don't care for it. Venicor was beyond generous in terms of providing me a return label and quickly corresponding to confirm the holster was in spec. their service is just great
-moderate amount of grip "tucking" depending on the users desires, although my personal belief is that people worry way too much about printing of their pistol grip
aside from the retention, my primary issue came when sitting down. while the wedge helps conceal the pistol, when flexing the hip to sit down I found the holster sort of "over-rotated" into my abdomen. I had to either slide the pistol to the 12 o'clock position or hike my belt up quite a bit. for me this is a mild issue with all appendix rigs although with the Tenicor Velo it was more pronounced. I do believe that the issue with hip flexion (i.e. sitting) is mostly related to body type. I have tree stumps for lower extremities and I'm convinced thin legs would have far less issues with the Tenicor in terms of sitting down.

To the Velo Gen4 users who owned previous versions... Do you find the new Velo a "rock your world never new what a holster should be until now" experience compared to earlier versions? Do you find ...the new Velo a "rock your world never knew what a holster should be until now" experience compared to earlier versions?
That's quite an exaggerated description, and not one that I'd use for any holster I've owned, but since I do have both the 3rd and 4th generation Velos, I can say without question that the gen 4 version does conceal better and more easily than the gen 3, and that the gen 4 Velo is also generally more comfortable for me than AIWB rigs that depend upon foam wedges for posteriorly displacing the gripframe into the abdomen. The Velo 4 accomplishes this necessary aspect of concealment with greater stability and less holster movement.
Being fairly new to AIWB as a method of CCW (mostly IWB behind the hip for over 30 years), I've now accumulated five different AIWB holsters over the past 6 months, all of them sized for the G17 though actually used for G19s and G26s, and the Velo gen 4 conceals best and is the most comfortable of all of them IME.

My post has zero to do with the present conversation. Sorry for the thread drift but I just wanted to give another thumbs up for their customer service. I've ordered several holsters from them and had two interactions with their customer service once to get things figured out and another for return so I could order something else that would fit me better and they are a class act. They took the time and responded with photos and answered my questions in less than 24hrs. I just wanted to throw that out there. Thanks Tenicor.

The end cut looks like a Velo, I’m using one of the new Velos cut for a Glock 26 with a 17 on occasion. The muzzle isn’t covered in the holster. The back side is Glock 19 length. It works fine. I’d imagine looking at the pictures that it would work ok on that holster too.

Works fine other than the muzzle sticking out slightly. The body contour keeps the muzzle pressed out away from the body a bit but you could get burned if the gun was hot and you say down.

I’m right-handed and usually carry a G19, but bought a left-handed v3 G17 model (for the extra length) when they were on sale. I’m looking to be prepared for possible surgery on my right wrist.
So far I’ve only tried it dry fire but it’s comfortable and looks to conceal well. It’s a little hard to make a full comparison because it already feels weird to have the gun on the opposite side.
I did find that with any of my normal clothes (34” waist) and the holster in the intended position at the hip crease, the clip on the trigger guard flange is right on top of a belt loop. I removed that clip. That solved the problem and it’s much easier to get the holster on and off. I need to see about some shorter screws to get rid of the clip spacers.

I noticed this with a Gen 2 G17 (and really had to crank the screws down to get enough retention). With a Gen 4 G19 or 26, the feel was more of a traditional click. I’ll let someone else weigh in on dimensional differences.

This is not a review, but rather some early observations on the company and product that is Tenicor.
I placed my online order for a Gen 4 VELO midafternoon on the Saturday before Labor Day. Soon thereafter I got a order confirmation and “shipping notification” emails. “Yeah”, I says to myself, “Them Tenicor jokers just printed a shipping label. It ain’t shipped. I won’t see this thing until next weekend.” Imagine my surprise, and delight, when I get a notification on the Tuesday after Labor Day, that the holster had been delivered to my house. What sort of sorcery is this?!? Mind you, Tenicor is based in, what? Washington state? I am in coastal Alabama. And this was their standard delivery. Huh.
Honestly, I wouldn’t even comment on something like the shipping, but I think perhaps this is just an indicator that Tenicor isn’t screwing around.
I have been watching Tenicor for a while and follow them on IG. The previous version of the VELO with the molded-in wedge was a hard pass for me. That thing had “Hot Spot” written all over it - to my eye. Never actually handled one. But this body contour business on the Gen 4 made me take a hard look. Not a hard corner anywhere near where it will contact the person wearing it. It looked like it would negate any sort of hot spot or pressure point. But it did look maybe a little bulky. Hmmmm...
I ordered the VELO to fit a G19. I carry a 19X, G26 with KKM comp (so G17 OAL), and rarely nowadays, a G34. Ultimately I went with a length to only cover the 19 length slide, primarily to obtain the max level of comfort. I think this was a good call. I am well acquainted with the potential pitfalls of a slide poking out the bottom of a holster - especially when worn AIWB, but I was willing to deal with those in exchange for a more comfortable ride. My assessment in terms of comfort is that the Gen 4 VELO is *very* comfortable. To the point of thinking that no holster worn AIWB could be any more comfortable. It’s that good. I think I cannot overstate how comfortable this thing is. To date, I have muddled along and managed to tolerate AIWB because I recognize the benefits that attach to that mode of carry. And it hasn’t been bad - it just hasn’t been *this* good.
My experience with AIWB holsters is admittedly a little limited. I carried in an Eidolon for at least two years - perhaps as many as four. Switched to a G34 length JMCK Wing Claw 2.0 this past January. I did not find the Eidolon particularly problematic in any regard, but I guess I wanted to see what all the fuss was about with JMCK. The WC 2.0 has been good (after I ditched the factory wedge for a 1” thick piece of foam). I got the WC 2.0 with the Discreet Carry Clips. The WC 2.0 was a definite upgrade from the Eidolon. In fairness to JMCK while I rave about the comfort of the VELO; the extra inch on the JMCK (built for a 19X with KKM comp so it is a tiny bit longer than a normal G34 length) created most of any comfort issues I have had with that holster. I know people say longer doesn’t matter or I even better (wait, what?); but that has not been my experience.
A previous poster mentioned that the retention on the VELO was a little janky, in that the pistol did not click into place. On both a Gen 4 26 and a 19X, I am getting the click on my VELO. I haven’t messed with the retention at all since I took it out of the package. It is very secure. In fact, I may back it off a little.
As good as the comfort is on the VELO, the concealment, right now, is just okay. But there are a couple of caveats to this. I ordered both the snap loops and the fixed loops. Surprise - both print through a t-shirt, especially when compared to the DC clips. Too, I have the holster riding at the highest of three settings. So this is pretty much the worst-case scenario for concealment. What I need to do is play around with the height and see of that helps. Also need to order the stinking clips from Tenicor. I think they use a proprietary cut for the fasteners so I can’t just rob the ones off the JMCK. Not to crazy about the special clips, but I understand why they use what they use. I strongly suspect that the concealment part of the equation will improve once I get this thing dialed in. And the concealment isn’t horrible now, but it is not as good as with the JMCK.
In listening to the Tenicor IG posts and looking at this holster, what you have is a designer who sweated *every tiny detail* to optimize every aspect of the holster possible. That is what *I* see when I look at this thing. And I think it works.
My bottom line is that my first impression of the Gen 4 VELO is very favorable. I need a lot more drawstrokes and just plain time living with this thing to completely validate that, but so far, so good. The JMCK will stay in the line-up for when I need max concealment and/or when the G34 comes into play. I will try to remember to update at some point and note any improvements or deficiencies that are revealed as time goes on.

I have one of the new Gen 4 Velos for a G19, with the DCC clips. I've been wearing it daily for about a month now. The kydex design, at least, is great.
I feel very dumb asking this, but is there a trick to putting the holster on the belt (I use a Volund G-Hook)? To start, the clips are very tight, so it is hard to keep them both wide open at once (I use my index and middle finger). The main problem is that the end of the clip near the retention adjustment parts seems to grab on to the waistband of my jeans, pushing them down. It's very difficult to work the waist back up. No joke, it took me 10 minutes to put the holster on this morning; I had to resort to feeding the belt through the clips.
I've heard such good things about the DCC clips that I figure the error must be on my end. Any advice? Worst case, I'll order up some PTD loops (which I like on my DSG and JMCK holsters).

I had exactly the same problem, although I chalked it up partly to being a righty putting on a lefty holster.
I ended up taking off the clip by the trigger guard because my belt loops were in the way anyway. That made it a lot easier.
I never spent much more time on it, though. The holster was a contingency plan for surgery on my dominant hand. Mercifully, that doesn’t seem likely any more.

I've been using a Velo for about a year and I have THE EXACT SAME THING with those infernal clips. The clips are both a blessing and a curse for me. I saw a video maybe on Tenicor's Instagram showing how to do it - which is exactly what you said you're doing. I too struggle with the bottom of the back clip catching my pants. What I've done that has made it little better is to get the clips open with the 2 fingers but instead of going straight down - I "reverse cant" the holster and get the back clip in first at a "backward angle" then the front clip.
Another way that works but doesn't look as cool is to get the holster inside the pants making sure the bottom of the rear clip is inside the pants and pull open the rear clip getting it partially on the belt then do the front clip - then push them both down the rest of the way until they click on.

What are the downsides of using the slots for the folded-in tabs to run a pull-handle of 550 cord, run through the slots of both hooks and tucked beneath the belt when the holster is worn?
The purpose would be so that you could pull down on both hooks simultaneously, taking the slack out; and then pulling outwards simultaneously so that both tabs release the underside of the belt.

Looks like a pretty well thought out design. Just wondering why I've never heard of them before. Maybe not out long enough...
I do. I think this holster is changing the game. I used it during some FoF drills and the T1 Clips held up amazingly well. I also really like the one piece design with the concealment claw and angled wedge built into the holster. My buddy drove from Texas to Tennessee and called it one of the most comfortable holsters he's ever had. You also can't beat that price for all it capabilities out of the box.

I have been interested in these holsters for a bit now, sadly I have limited interest in going down Glock/S&W/SIG road any time soon. Do you guys have any idea when we might expect to see this line support Tier 1 pistols from the likes of Walther, Beretta, H&K or CZ? If it's not looking good I may have to try and fan the Glock flame again...
Reading the reviews here is really encouraging, to say the least... not to mention the designs look great as a whole (well thought out). I have pretty much been totally avoiding kydex for years, but the more I use leather the more I realize kydex does have some real advantages. Consistency being one of them, both in the fact you have to break them in and also the draw itself isn't always the same.
The fact that Tenicor offers the kind of guarantee they do also speaks volumes about how they feel about their products, it is practically unheard of to see that kind of backing your gear. This alone makes me want to try it, I guess it just grows very tiring getting holster that look great in a lot of ways that end up falling short and you are left holding the bag trying to recoup your $$.

So I picked up a Sagax Lux after wanting to add a WML to my G19 but not being a big guy I don't have room to comfortably wear an X300 AIWB... Standing, yes, but not sitting or actively moving about.
But the TLR7 in the Sagax Lux is just small enough that I can wear it with no issue.
I was very happy with the comfort and concealment provided by my RCS Eidolon and I can now say the Sagax Lux is at least as comfortable and that's with the addition of the WML, so that's impressive.
The holster body seems to create a bit thicker profile at my belt line causing slightly more printing there but the butt of the 19 is better concealed causing less printing there, so it's a bit of a wash.
The huge integral wedge works as well as described and was comfortable and natural feeling within 2 days. Being Kydex it's nice that it can move around a bit without grabbing your underwear and causing hot spots the way the RCS rubber pad can sometimes do.
As far as build quality is concerned, it is top notch... Crisp clean lines and well finished edges.
The integral "claw" works great and the size adjustment allows for as much torqueing as anyone could possibly desire, or none at all.
The DCC clips are the shit, as most people already know... You just have to get used to the slightly awkward techniques required to don and remove them. It's not a one-handed operation but it can be done rapidly once mastered.
It will definitely hold the G19 securely sans a WML but holstering is kind of funky until you get the gun almost fully seated as there's no light to help guide the slide into the proper position.
The Eidolon is the only AIWB I have extensive time spent wearing so I can only compare to it but I can definitely say I have not given up any comfort or concealment but I have added a WML, so that's an impressive achievement in my humble opinion.

I have been using a JMCK 2.5 wingclaw for a couple of years now, but I like to tinker so I ordered a Tenicor Gen 4 to try. It arrived yesterday, and so far I really like it. I haven't gotten a hot spot from the claw like I do with the wingclaw. Of course, it has only been a day but I am impressed so far.

Just picked up the Gen 4 Velo last night. Overall, the design is very much improved in both concealment and comfort. I was worried about the length being too short but that's not the case at all. The clips that came with mine have the new DCC finish. The clamping force also seems to be substantially stronger. My old Velo will still see use and will be dedicated for riding/running. For those on the fence, I highly recommend it.

I recently got the Sagax Lux for my RMR'ed G19. I love it, with the exception that the pointy ear of the RMR likes to poke out like a 3rd nipple. I made a modification to help with that that might help others with a similar issue- I drilled a couple holes and mounted one of the extra camming bars on the top of the sight channel. It helps push the belt out to conceal the RMR ear. It does add a bit of belt line bulge, but that's an acceptable trade off for me.

I just received, this afternoon, the Velo 4 AIWB. It's a very nicely constructed holster with some nice features.
Relatively thin at the waistline and tucks the grip in well. I did have the common issue with getting the pair of DCC clips situated on to my belt, but that was an issue I felt I could deal with.
Unfortunately, no matter where I placed the holster between 12 and 2, the rear corner of the slides on my G26 and G19 print in an unacceptable fashion as compared to my holsters from DSG, JMCK and Mastermind.
Disappointed, since I like the concept, but such is life. I'll be sending it back once I get a return label from Tenicor.

I decided to do some experimenting with the holster before the hockey game started tonight.
Took off the DCC's which seemed underwhelming for me with this package and replaced with some closed loops I had on hand.
Hated the hassle of the closed loops so installed a pair of PTDs. Now we're getting somewhere.
I'm able to conceal the G19 better with the PTDs than I could the G26 with the DCC clips.
Comfort is good, concealment is good and I have only the slightest printing (dimple) on the slide corner if I move a certain way with a light t-shirt on. The drape of the shirt pretty much conceals well otherwise.
I wrote to Tenicor and asked if they would let me just return the hardware and DCC clips for an adjustment in which case I'd keep the holster instead of returning it. Should be about $15 in savings...plus I'd just use my own loops.
We'll see if that works for them.

I can't explain it. I had the clips set up for the lowest ride and the corner of the slide printed more than I was comfortable with...with both G26 and G19.
I really was pretty much set on sending it back when I decided to try out the loops I had in the shop downstairs. Didn't think it would make an ounce of improvement so you can imagine my surprise.
I have the PTDs set up in the highest set of holes for the lowest ride. I didn't measure if there is a difference in ride height with the clips in the lowest ride position vs. the loops.

It very well may be the best of the new breed. I wouldn't be a good judge of that as I don't have an appreciation for the engineering of wings, claws, bulbs or wedges of the state of the art AIWB holster. My AIWB use spans a few decades with S&W J through N frames, 1911s and a few more in between and I prefer trim slim as possible form factors ie the Jonathan. Hence my quip WTF was I thinking. I dremeled off the claw of high end holster a few years ago and preferred it without. It's me. I'll own that.

In looking at the images on the Tenicor (https://tenicor.com/collections/frontpage/products/velo4-aiwb-holster-for-glock?variant=29465975947339) site one can clearly see that the DCC clips will not allow quite as deep carry as the top holes for mounting PTD loops. (See image below.)
That's probably the main difference as to why the PTD loops work better concealing my guns...and it's also possible that the clips were so tightly fitted to the belt that they "may" have contributed to a little bit of "roll out" at the top of the slide.
In any event, I find that they are also more easily attached and positioned so trying them out before returning the holster turned out to be a win-win.
The top mounting holes for the PTD just allow me to get a good grip on the Glocks without skinning my knuckles, or only very lightly at the belt line.
Now I'll get to see how the holster works out with the G19 and G26 over the coming days to get a better evaluation of its capabilities.

I have one for the p365. I had a really hard time getting it on the belt as well. I ended up using just one clip which seems like it’s enough for the tiny gun. The bulb/wedge tuck thing being so much closer to the mouth of the holster on the small gun makes it hard to get the holster body far enough past the belt to use it as a lever to open the clips. It’s a great holster once it’s on. We really do live in a great time for holsters and pistols. So many options.

The clips get easier to put on as you use them. They are about perfect right now; if they get weakened over time I’ll just put a few snap loops on.

Well don't feel bad as I was having fun and games trying to get the G19 sized Velo hooked on to my Mastermind / Graith belt.
The consolation prize, as mentioned in the posts above, was that the PTD loops actually concealed better because of the slightly deeper placement they afforded. (But I figured I'd try to get some tips on simplifying installation on the belt in case I decide to give the clips a go again down the road.)

Diggin' the body contour so far. No hot spots. Rides right in the inguinal crease.
Comfortable in the 4Runner or on the couch or at the dining table. Tucks the slide up into the torso pretty well. Maybe not quite as much as the thickest of my Mastermind wedges, but certainly adequate.
The G19 length turns out to be a good idea since the body contour on a 17 length holster would be the same and the extra length would not add any leverage into the body since the muzzle end doesn't touch the torso.
So far, so good. Had to adjust the tension for the G19 which I am carrying vs. the G26. The Gen 3 frame must be slightly wider than my previous Gen 2 it replaced. Used to be that my Gen 2.5 G26 was the wider of the two guns. Now it's the 19 so I had to let it out a little.
If jeffm is reading this thread, it'd be interesting to find out if he could get DCC clips that are slightly longer so that they would provide as deep concealment as the loops. It's not a vast difference but it is pretty startling how much a difference of a quarter or half inch deeper fit can conceal the rig.
Anyway...good stuff so far.

Good to hear, I’ve gone to the Velo for at least the past year because it’s thinner without a big foam wedge. I don’t know why, but the wedges are really uncomfortable for me and somehow a plastic molded one isn’t. My longest drive with it on was seven hours (one way) and I was perfectly fine.

I have some belts that are ever-so-slightly taller than 1.5" which makes getting those DCC clips a little more difficult, esp. when a little pants fabric gets above the belt. To make holstering up easier, I apply thumb pressure to the logo while pulling the tab and push the logo into the belt when hooking the tooth. Works for me.

I just received an email from SKD announcing Ninecor - Tenicor factory seconds with cosmetic deficiencies, may be a good way for those of us wanting to try the products at a discount. Tenicor endeavors to bring the highest quality products to market.
A result is a high number of perfectly functional holsters that don’t meet the fit and finish standards for our primary line.

I took off one of the PTD loops yesterday on the Velo 4 to see if there really was deeper concealment with the loop mounted in the top hole vs. the DCC clips locked down in the lowest position...and found that it was a very, very small margin. The images are somewhat deceptive due to where the mounting occurs.
So, I decided to try the clips out again. Got 'em on and off the belt and pants a little bit easier this time and so far, so good. I had read Jeff's comments about his recommending changing the "workflow" to get used to the clips, so I'm giving them a fair shot. I can always go back to the PTD if the clips don't work out for me.

I ordered a "Ninecor" Gen 4 G17 Velo last month, and at the time it was not marked as a factory second. Wasn't quite sure what to expect, but for $60...
In my case, there was a hole drilled in the sweat shield which looks like somebody/something slipped up when drilling the belt loop holes, but the holster is otherwise completely functional.

What is the advantage, on the monoblock, to having two spring clips versus one long wide one. You can't split a belt loop. Is it just impractical to have a wider clip? Seems it would be easier to manage...(read manhandle).
Looks like a great option to use with some of my holsters.

Looks very nice, hopefully this is released soon. A Velo with a camming bar seems to be the ideal holster for me.
I previously mentioned that I was happy with the 3rd version of the Velo, but I wanted to try the new G26 specific one. The wedge is the same length as a G19, but the excess material is removed from the top of the holster. I wanted to try something with less material because the previous Gen only came in G17 length. I only carry my 26s anymore so I wasn’t worried about sticking with a longer holster.
So far so good, we will see after a few long drives.

Maybe this has been answered before, but what's to be gained by removing material near the muzzle from the non-body side only? Doesn't change the length or reduce much weight. Why not just standardize on a 19 holster and keep from having to stock additional models?

Tenicor is calling it the "concealment cut" which reduces printing within the pants when wearing tighter clothing, seems to get rid of that bulge. Especially on women.

The largest benefit that I’ve noticed so far is that it reduces tension/pressure from the front of the holster pushing into the front of your jeans. This is especially noticeable while sitting.

Hmmm....
I’ll try tonight to see if it does.
I doubt that it will because they use very thick Kydex so it’s not LIKELY to give but it may.
I’ll say this: I have put a heat gun to Kydex holsters to great effect and I sense that it would not take much to get it to fit. Just loosen all fasteners, hear and form.

Reading this thread has made me pull the trigger on upgrading from a gen 3 velo to the Velo4. I used loops on my v3 but ordered the v4 with dcc clips.
To anyone thinking of ordering a velo, make sure you do some experimentation with it once it arrives. I hated my velo the first time I tried it on and it went back into my holster box for a while. Im glad I randomly tried it again a few months ago because once I found the sweet spot that holster has been gold.

I would agree that it seems to be much more "position sensitive" than some of my other holsters from DSG, JMCK, Mastermind. Once the "spot" is found, however, it works very well. I still find myself experimenting from time to time.

It’s been my main carry for a few months. I’ll echo the sweet spot sentiment, that’s about right.
I wonder if that has more to do with the clip attachments than anything else… they are very secure and rigid.

Definitely a combination of the two clips' spacing and the amount of rotation the built in camming bar brings to bear.
I find that I have to set mine up further outbound toward the hip than I do with my DSG, JMCK and Mastermind holsters which are closer in toward center line (12 o'clock) in comparison. Once the spot is found, however, it conceals the grip very well, and the top of the Glock slide reasonably well.
Overall, I find it a very good addition.

Only able to dry fire with it for now due to quarantine. But so far, I am really liking it. The combination of concealment aiding features and the DCC clips make the entire pistol disappear on me. The clips are a total pain in the ass to get on, but once in place, they aren't moving. Here it is compared to my older JM Wing Claw 2.5 that I've used for a couple years. Belt is a 1.5" Mean Gene.

That looks like one of the best ways to accommodate an X300U for AIWB that I've seen. I just couldn't get used to the length for long periods of sitting and switched to the TLR7-A with a Tenicor Sagax Lux and I'm very happy with it.
The only issue I've had is that the built in wedge is more slippery than a foam wedge so it would eventually start to move or allow my undershirt to move past it and untuck itself. I stuck some soft side velcro on the wedge to give it more texture and that solved the problem.

I'm wearing the Velo 4 with a G26 today. Once the wrestling with the DCC clips is done with, it's a very nice holster (provided you have figured out the best location.)
I've had to reposition and re-tighten the clips due to them moving out of sync...so one would go over the belt but the other was a skosh shy of doing so.
Anyway, it's a nice holster to have in the arsenal alongside DSG and JMCK (and a couple of old Masterminds).

This was why I gave mine away. The trigger side clip being tied into the retention adjustment is a full stop for me.
Too much retention or a loose clip. Negative.
The issue was addressed by tenicore - who basically said I was wrong for not liking it and the slight movement of the clip wasn’t a real world concern.

I haven't had that issue. Retention is just right and that's with the hardware screwed down tight. Probably just some tolerance differences.

I have a pair of twin sister G19.5 with RM06s. One with a Surefire X300U with Comp, the other with a Streamlight TLR 7A and no comp. One is in a Malus Sol the second is in a Sagax Lux. The trick for me is to not wear my belt that tight. When I sit down, I just pull up the gun to ride a little higher while I sit. Note, while sitting the Malus Sol conceals better in the the length of the comp / light pull the gun back into my body where as the Sagax Lux rolls out away from my body. I carry the full size light with comp 90s of the time.
Dontshakepandas, get a different belt, the bottom of those clips will eat that leather belt in short order. From trial and error on my end, those clips gave me the business at first, now they are absolutely no issue and I wouldn't trade them for any type of plastic clip on the market.
From a relatively loose belt, the gun is slid inside of the waist band. As a right hander, I grab inside of my waistband with my right thumb and index finger just to my right of the camming bar and pull the waistband away from me. Then then at the same time, with my left hand, I grab the bottom of the clips with my middle and ring finger and pull the clips away from my body as I pull the clips to the bottom of the belt most of the way. I finish by push down on the holster to totally seat the clips at the bottom of the belt.
My biggest issue was when I tried to position the holster the camming bar would catch on my belt and not go into position. Now I just pull out on the belt and waistband in an area that allows the camming bar to go into position with my right hand as I open both clips at once with my left hand.
Lonnger to describe than to show you, but hope that this helps putting these clips on.
Love these holsters and this method of carrying. I have a draw full of AIWB holsters that did not work for me. Tenicor is fantastic in every way compared to the others that I have tried.

Yes, they can be re-purposed fora P-10C.
Heat, insert pistol. It required several iterations but it's not at all difficult. I have had more difficulty re-purposing other index holsters. THE KYDEX IS THICK so heat it slowly and take your time with it.
Unfortunately, the holster was not for me so I do not have photos. I think I have another one I purchased and I'll convert that one. I'll take and upload photos.

I've switched back to the PTD loops on the Velo 4. I find the DCC clips a bit too fiddly with my main belt, a Mastermind "Parameter". It's rare that one or the other clip doesn't have to be adjusted due to moving slightly out of position, allowing one to be secured but the other slightly out of position to hook underneath the belt.
If the belt was slightly less thick it might be less of an issue, but as it is, the PTDs are going to get another look.
I like the other features of the holster...and it makes a good companion to the others in my lineup.

The loop is a fixed position, and is the same height as their clip. I’m using a G-Code clip on my JMCK 2.5. It drops the holster and extra 1/4” over any of their attachments and is working really well for me. The ho,e pattern on the Tenicor means I’ll need to get more creative... or ditch it.

Hmm... Why do you like to run it so low? It seems like that would make it tough to get a good grip on the gun while drawing.
Maybe a solution is a longer holster, if your objective is to get more length below the belt line? This would allow you to keep the grip accessible.

Out of curiosity, has anyone had success with the Velo 4 using only one DCC clip in the mid holster location? (No clip attached to the holster's adjustable retention screws below the trigger guard.)
Just wondering about both security and excessive rotation for a G26 in a G19 holster.

Have you ever used a single-clip / loop setup before? It's a hard no for me. Against my better judgment, I bought a PHLster Classic a couple years ago. No matter how I set up the loop (The Classic only has one attachment), the grip yipped and yawed forward and backwards all over the place. Every time I moved, the cant changed.
The way you're looking to do it, the clip would be in front and ALL the weight of the gun is behind it. I would think it would reverse-cant the grip pretty bad.

That's my suspicion and why I haven't removed the PTD loops that I replaced the dual DCC clips with. It was merely a fantasy I was hoping I might indulge.
I will say that Tom's "Orion" (DSG) with the single wide metal clip works great for me, even if I have whined to him during our prior conversations about the minimal amount of grip rotation that I experience.
Guess I'll just stick with using the Tenicor with the PTDs. As mentioned above, I'm having some issues with the clips that might be less apparent for someone with a different belt.
Thanks, Larry. I "knew" that was the right answer...but hope springs eternal. (So to speak. ;))

It probably wouldn't be obvious unless you were around when Mack offered the "Parameter" a while back. I think I have six of the Mastermind belts from the thinnest to fairly beefy (the "Universal").
The "Parameter" is very similar to the various incarnations of the Specialist belts by Mack, I think it's the same but might be a hair thicker in construction.
That said, I like it because my favorite of all the Mastermind belts are the two "Universals" with D ring buckles and this "Parameter" with AustriAlpin frame buckle. No velcro required, though the Universals do also have velcro. The Parameter does not...which I don't miss fiddling with.
Image is generic from google of a belt with the frame buckle:
https://i.pinimg.com/originals/e0/1a/39/e01a391771a1d5e7677d6cc7948533c0.jpg
I've asked Mack in the past if he would reconsider using the D ring buckles but it doesn't seem to be in the cards.
Anyway, I've got enough belts to last the next couple of lifetimes. I don't really want to buy more at this point.

So that AustriAlpin buckle holds tight without Velcro? Fuck... Now I'm jealous. [emoji13]

Yep. It's a great buckle. And if you rotate the belt as I do toward the left hip in front of the first belt loop at 11 o'clock, the extra bit of thickness of the buckle does not print at all.
Based on our popular COBRA® buckle styling, these special tri-glides feature extremely high strength (18kN) and low profile design. Made of 7075 grade aluminum alloy with stainless steel adjuster bar.

Does anyone have experience carrying a Glock with WML and an optic in a Malus Sol that they can share?

So far I’m impressed.
4- 14 hour days carrying a Roland/X300 - 2 days of driving
I put a big wedge on it and a strip of soft velcro over the edge of the light bezel - but Beyond that I’m happy with it
Which is saying a lot - I burn, grind, drill or chop up literally every holster I’ve ever had.

Thanks, that's exactly the type of setup I'm contemplating for the tenicor

Duke, I'm curious, what mag pouch are you running with the DCC clip that?

Not Duke but looks like JM Custom Kydex AIWB mag pouch. Duke, does Mrs. Duke know you to post junk pics like that? Seriously though I dig the choices and love the belt, I prefer the Air model but all in all those belts are best belt I've ever used bar none.

JM High ride.

Not sure how anyone can trust Duke seeing as he went from 2011s to M&P 2.0 ported to GLOCKS?

8 days of 12+ hour use.
Note the mentioned wedge and the soft Velcro on the light bezel portion
The square nuts on the dcc clip screws haven’t loosened no tilted with vigorous use.
I have to say I’m pleasantly surprise by this kydex
The open muzzle isn’t a deal breaker like it appears as the built in wedge alone would keep the comp distanced from your junk.

Bought a VELO4 to carry my G45 with compensator in. I honestly had reservations about the molded-in body contouring possibly being uncomfortable, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised to find quite the opposite. I find it more comfortable than an added wedge, most notably I’ve used the Dr Scholl’s pad. The ride height for the holster is also a plus as I’ve usually found myself wishing to get my holster and gun a little higher so I don’t hit my belt with my knuckles on the draw. Can definitely appreciate the thoughtful design apparent in the final product.

...
I've had to reposition and re-tighten the clips due to them moving out of sync...so one would go over the belt but the other was a skosh shy of doing so.
...
I’ve noticed this issue myself, and while a minor inconvenience it does get annoying to continually address and then re-tune the retention. My only other critique for the holster is I wish the belt bump was a little bigger for better grip rotation, but that might require some redesign with the wedge shaping so as to not become uncomfortable.
I did start looking at the Certum for its adjustable cam bar and clips being separate from the retention screws, but alas Tenicor doesn’t offer it in G34 length and when contacted stated they had no plans for it.

I sold the Tenicor some months back to another forum member in your state. Interestingly, he never got back to me one way or the other after it was delivered.

Any particular reason you decided to get rid of the holster?

Any particular reason you decided to get rid of the holster?
A few reasons.
Having to fiddle with getting the DCC clips to remain aligned so that they would mate up properly when securing the holster to my belt. (I also didn't particularly care for having one of the clips connected to the retention screw adjustment.)
The body contour didn't always match the best positioning / placement for comfort or concealment.
The lack of vertical depth of the holster didn't provide the best concealment for me. A little more length to tuck the notorious "rear corner of the Glock slide" and prevent making a dimple in the cover garment would have been helpful. It didn't protect against a bit of roll out as much as I had desired, due to the shorter profile.
In the end, my G17 sized DSG Orions, and G19 sized JMCK "George" just "fit" me and concealed better, so I decided to sell the Tenicor as it was in virtually new condition. (Plus I didn't have to fiddle with the fitment as the DCC clips.)
Hope that helps. I will say that I think the Tenicor holster was very well built and exuded quality. It just wasn't a perfect fit for me.

Wow, game changer for me. Now I can comfortably carry a wml all the time.

I also recently found tenicor. They are very well made and the built in wegde works well for me on the velo 4.
I only use one of the dcc clips though and it makes putting the gun on and off much easier, and gives the holster a little bit of wiggle room on the cant when moving around which I like. No issues with the malus sol (19 w/ x300) with one clip either so that’s what I’ve stuck with.

I recently bought a Certum with T1 clips for my Staccato C. I usually carry IWB at 0400, but I found the clips to be very awkward to disengage having to reach back and still pull vertically. I found that the clips work much better AIWB and may give that a go. I've ordered a set of the closed straps and will also try those at the 4 o'clock position. For those who have used this, or one of Tenicor's other holsters, on the strong side which type of mount did you find works best? BTW, the holster is a perfect fit for the gun.

I've gone back to Pull The Dot loops on everything. The DCC clips are nearly indestructible but can be difficult and rough on material.

Thanks for the confirmation. I had order a set of the loops earlier today.
For those of you that have this holster, can the wedge be sanded down without creating a hole / is the wedge hollow inside? I like to carry at 3-4, and I love the idea of the universal light fit, but they do not make a CERTUM LUX2 for 2011's.

The wedge is hollow and would open the back of the holster up if ground off. I have a velo and a Malus sol.
