Is this any good? I’ve been reading reviews about it and some says it’s not reliable but the others find no issue at all. Does this need a separate mag insert? And would I need to use a different mag spring for G19 15rd mag? Would it be a Wolfe +10% spring or can I use the spring from a 17rd spring?

It’s a Bulgarian knock off - you get what you pay for.

What HCM said.

I do have a Taran Tactical +3 for the G19 that works very well. And it’s shorter than the Glock +2.

I do have Taran Tactical as well as ZEV extensions but am looking for something smaller. What about Glock OEM +2? Are they reliable?

Glock OEM +2 are reliable. They pack two of them with every Glock 19x, and mine have been completely flawless.

Ok, thanks. I understand I also need to buy the mag insert and stronger mag spring. Should I get +10% spring or 17rd spring for my 15rd mag?

I've had good luck with the factory plus 2. they are also available separately as a retro fit kit.

You just blew my mind. That just shot to the top of my Gun Wishlist (I have a Google spreadsheet... and decline further comment)

Lol! Happy to help. I’ll try to get a pic later for the OP. I’m pretty sure the TTI +3 is smaller than the factory +2.

It definitely is. And a 19 mag with the extension is shorter than a 17rd mag.

Voodoo.

Does the TT +3 work with the 19 spring?

18 rounds on the left and 17 on the right. Both G19 mags.

They work great.

13+1, .5" short than a g19 mag....

That’s not a bad idea. I don’t know if it would still give 3 extra rounds with such a short tube. But I’d expect two extra and a shorter OAL.

Wow thanks El,
TT +3 shorter than the Glock +2. I didn’t realize that. What I have is TT +5. I already placed a order for the +2. I’ll be happy anyway.

Does the TT +3 work with the 19 spring?

No, needs an included 10 coil to work at 18 rounds...

How's the longevity on the TTs for G19? I had several for G43 when the 43 first hit the market, and found the set screws stripped pretty easily, and had one that wouldn't tighten at all.

I don’t own any of these, but was looking at them on the website last night. Based on the passage;

“The pin set screws are set with Loctite® at the specific tension we recommend, and will generally never need an adjustment. Tightening the base pad screw is not recommended and may be difficult because the screw is set with Loctite®; trying to force the set screw to turn could result in stripping the screw. We do not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost in result of tampering with the set screw.”

I don’t think your supposed to be messing with the set screw.

I’ve only got the one. It doesn’t get a lot of use but for three years or so it’s been 100%. I may give it a go if I shoot my G19 at the next match. I’ve had good luck with TTI extensions. I use the +5 (but only put in 4), the G43 +2 and +3, and even the G21 +4 extensions. Even my early G43 +2 had no issues before they changed the springs.

I've used several factory +2s over the years, on G17 and G22 mags, never a problem. Never changed springs either.

They're super cheap too at the Glock store. I just ordered some more.
