"I don't have time to practice!" "I don't want to train." "The match is so far away."

All excuses.

All weak when you consider the guy on the left in this photo from the IDPA Indoor Nationals - he shot the whole match, and he stood up for every stage.

Chris, the shooter on the left was a cool guy to shoot with, and just..man, made me feel like a puss for whining about cutting my thumb the night before.

Awesome. My dad lost his left leg at the hip in 1950. Never stopped him from hunting and fishing or once I witnessed as a wee one, backing down a carload of tough guys. Do you know that young man's story?

I wasn't actually talking about anyone here, but more that mindset that some people get in of making excuses. Now I'm going running, because my excuses are invalid.

S&W (and our own JulieG in particular) puts a lot of time and effort into helping disabled shooters, especially veterans, enjoy the shooting sports.

Kudos to Chris for his performance at the match.

Trevor Baucom (http://www.theoutdoorwire.com/story/1304055405ekvn61mm2t6) shot the match on Wednesday with the SOs as well; the support of S&W has really enabled him to be a voice for disabled shooters in the sport. Shooting a match from a wheelchair = beast mode ENGAGED.

I got to watch Trevor(shooting behind his squad) and he is a beast. Watching him work was inspiring.

Should be on Shooting USA in a few months.

So how did Chris do in the match?
