Heads up, everyone. There's an e-mail scam going around about loss of your CPA license and issues regarding fax fraud. The sender's name shows up as "Bryant Hobbs" and it's allegedly from the AICPA. If you get said e-mail, delete it immediately.
I contacted the AICPA directly and the person who answered the phone confirmed that it is a scam. Their website also confirms that this is a scam.
