Every VCR and DVD player I've ever owned had a display on the front. In addition to being able to tell, at a glance, how long a tape or disc had been playing, the front display was also useful for troubleshooting whenever something went wrong, such as a DVD screen being frozen or stuck in a loop.

However, every Blu-Ray player I've owned since then has lacked this feature. Instead, I'm expected to press some button on my remote to display the information on the TV screen. That usually works, but I don't want to have to do that.
Are there any Blu-Ray players with a traditional display in the front?
Thanks.
