Looking for a possible low recoil load for step-daughter.

Is there reliable data on the .32 H&R Mag out of a 2-4 inch barrel on proper gelatin?
Specifically, 4 layers, 12 inches penetration, and at least some sort of expansion?

Several years ago, I tried most of the available loads on water filled cartons behind 4 layers of denim out of a 2 inch j-frame. Although penetration was fine, the bullets could have been re-used in some cases. Lost interest at that point.
Right now, I've got a buddy who will give me a great deal on his 4 inch SP-101 in .327 Mag. I've fired it with .327 and no way is that a novice load. However, maybe things have changed for .32 H&R mag? Or, my testing (being primitive) was flawed.

I know Tam carries these on occasion. There must be something to it...

Chuck Haggard has some data on these as does Claude Werner.

Hornady Critical Defense looks promising based on Brass Fetcher's testing of the 80 gr FTX at 32 NAA velocity. A four inch 32 Mag should produce about an extra 100 fps.

I have no idea if Brass fetcher is a reliable source; but if he is...
This appears to fit my requirements perfectly.
