Got this in the Gunbroker newsletter today. What’s the big precision rifle in the middle? It looks futuristic and space age.

Thanks!

It's fake, the whole thing is a 3D rendering stock photo.

Looks to me like a mock up or prop rifle. Google XPR-50 and you will find a similar rifle from Call of Duty. It is not exact, but close.

The photo looks like it has 2 gastubes, and that catch-looking piece on the mag just don't look right.

If you look at the two subguns, they look like a wierd cross between the steyr MPI69s, the fmk-3, the uzi, and the M3, with 1911 grip panels on the pistol grip, and a goofy pistol grip in front of the trigger guard.

I could be wrong, but I say props.

I just looked again and those subguns may be Saab Bofors Dynamics CBJ-MS, another Call of Duty piece. The CBJ-MS appears to be a real gun but it was designed in the early 2000s, no variants, a silly looking bipod, no production numbers, and since it is select fire, they are not likely to have been imported in any quantities, and would not be transferable. Just looking the gun up produced more hits for Call of Duty/Battlefield type games that any credible websites. Even the best websites I saw looked sketchy.

pat

I’ve kinda kept out of the, “new gun tech,” (outside of pistols, levers, Ruger Scouts and 870 modifications) for the better part of a decade now. I thought I missed something!

I couldn't figure out why anyone would use a side-clip style magazine release these days. I'm not sure if the Mas 49/56 was the last rifle to have one of those - but I haven't seen anything new in that style in decades.
