Nothing personal, but their website doesn’t really raise any of the red flags I’d normally associate with a fucked up outfit. Their cadre’s credentials are pretty impressive as well, at least on paper.

Not a ton of experience, but I did a half-day course with them at their Simi Valley facility. The course was very basic, apparently designed for folks who are new to self protection training. However, it did include a little simunition work (2 scenarios) and quite a few scenarios on their large screen simulator.

I thought the level of instruction was pretty basic. But the other students seemed to get a lot out of it. I attended solely because of the FoF element. The simulator was pretty cool too.

(Side note: one guy - a CCW carrier - completely froze during the FoF scenario. Locked up like a statue for a few seconds).

In addition to training, they offer security services which seem to run the gamut from VIP protection through to rent-a-cop. One of their low-level employees was in my class, and he was very poorly trained in basic stuff like managing unknown contacts, maintaining space, etc. On the other hand, I know a guy who has done executive protection work with them, and he's pretty legit; former Recon Marine, High level Muay Thai, etc.

I would train with them again if the right opportunity came up, but they're not at the top of my list. If I lived in that part of the State, I'd be more likely to spend my time and money at ITTS under Scott Reitz.
