Need to pick your brains on fitting a bushnell TRS-25 to older .22s

So the deal is, I picked up a couple of these:

After someone (maybe @little lebowski) pointed them out. One went on my 10/22; that’s been great. But all my other .22LRs—of which there are several—have the older, 3/8" dovetail. Of course, I didn’t figure this out until after ordering more than one TRS-25. Anyone know of a good way to adapt the bushnell to the rimfire dovetail? Figured I’d throw it out here to see what advice surfaced. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

There are a bunch of 3/8” dovetail to weaver or picatinny adapters. I’ve used DIP rail adapters on a CZ. Midway and Brownells have similar items.

Not directly answering your question, but I have one of the TRS-25s on my 5.56mm AR for over a year now and it has held up fine. It's not a high volume gun, but in that year, I've run about 1000 rounds through it. The dot hasn't shifted or caused any problems. I did kill a battery by leaving the dot on, so don't forget to turn it off if you're not using it. That brings me to my only other niggle and that's the on/off/brightness knob. It's very tight. It's a bit tough to turn, especially with gloves.

I used the second one to mount that TRS-25 to my Marlin 60 and it would shoot loose I would use that locking pin (drill a shallow hole into your receiver) to prevent it. I lost the locking pin and ended up using the first product I posted above.
BTW, I purchased one of those <$50 TRS-25s earlier this year and I suspect it might be a counterfeit. It doesn't' have the same build quality or dot clarity as my original I bought from Midway over a year ago.

Not exactly what the OP wanted, but my little Marlin wears a Tasco red dot:

Cost about $30 at the local Bi-Mart.
For the function intended it does just as well as the more expensive TRS-25, which I have also tried.
