On May 3, 2018, Gun Owners of America (GOA) filed a joint amicus brief in the case of Texas et al v United States, more commonly known as "Texas v Obamacare".

As much as I can understand it, the brief is an argument against the individual mandate portion of the ACA ("Obamacare").
Whether or not GOA has a legitimate legal argument, the optics can't help us. "Gun group opposes health care" is just another distraction that we're going to have to defend whenever this comes up.
