So, with this alliance of ShivWorks and Graith would it be fair to refer to the resulting menu of offerings as Craigth List?

Suggestion - can you sew in some of the parts from Craig's retired FIST helmets?

Cool belt aside, do you also do wedding and graduation pics, perchance?

Seriously, I’m getting the sense that your photo chops could make a wad of gum on an NY city sidewalk look like a young Salma Hayek. I mean, those are just random one-piece belt buckles and some wrapping paper, and I’m getting an erection over here...

Ha, thanks for the compliment. Any "photographic skills" are the byproduct of necessity, when we started Mastermind we could barely afford a camera let alone professional photography.

I ordered an all black belt earlier.

Tonight it finally penetrated my thick skull that my current preferred 1.5” Biothane belt has a large, unnecessary bulge that is the result of the traditional buckle and loop. That’s cool for every day when working from home carrying OWB for comfort, but when I go out I ualmost always switch to AIWB. It would make sense to swap to a lower profile belt design while I am at it.

Or, maybe just wear a lower profile belt design all the time.

It all depends how badly you want it, that's why they invented next day air :) (which would almost surely cost more than the belt itself).

Currently contrasting stitching will be in exclusive designs like the ShivWorks Specialist or limited production/edition Specialist belts (which will be coming in the future:))

We will not be making any belts in 1.75" width; there is very little demand for anything but 1.5" belts and many of the materials that we use are not even available in 1.75".

Day 2 wearing the Specialist and I'm digging it. Thus far I've only worn it with a Clinch Pick but I like the design and will be testing with a holster this weekend.

Having most recently used the Wilderness belts and a First Spear biothane belt I definitely prefer the Specialist over the other two.

Expect a few more orders this week. My ECQC classmates showed a lot of interest, and Craig (and I, like that matters) spoke very highly of the belt, and you guys in general.

I was able to chime in with how great your customer service is, and also show around my 3? year old Mnimalist that, except for all the fluff caught in the velcro, still looks darn near new. I think that speaks volumes about both your craftsmanship and your choice of materials.

It's hard not to Sherman. Wore my 2nd Specialist during a recent DB/Wayne tuneup that Retro (aka Mike Pipes) & I went to but he's a hard sell.

That said I was just glad to see he FINALLY left leather in the rear view for belts while shooting matches & training, old habits due indeed die a hard death.

just received my shivworks 2.0! ive been using the previous gen of the graith for quite some time now and its been fantastic. the 2.0 is very nice and i love the new soft side Velcro, the new polymer belt loop is nice and small. i feel like it also offers a bit more retention of the belt compared to the metal loop resulting in less "torque" or "pull" between the two sides of the Velcro when mated up. thank you, fantastic design and well thought out improvements.

Thanks for the support, we are happy to hear you are liking the Specialist.2!

The Specialist.2 is superior to the classic version in all regards. It has a number of improvements that may not be immediately noticeable to the user however its new construction method and materials will make it more durable, longer lasting, and have active retention of the tail through the use of the new buckle as you have noted. The new loop is also something that we are excited about, it is the longest lasting loop around so it should extend the service life of the Specialist.2.
