Anyone here use an app to determine the distances to a fixed target?

I usually shoot on a friend's outdoor property but would like to figure out set distances from 3 to 25 (or so) yards to a fixed target rack. Pacing it off gives ballpark distances, which is fine I suppose, but wondering if anyone has found a phone app for more precise measurements.

Thanks-
Skippy

I use a Bosch laser measurer when at my local indoor range. Doesn't work for outdoors, I'm assuming too bright and the laser isn't bright enough. For outdoors I use a big ol' tape measure.

Very few phone GPS receivers have that kind of accuracy. The laser distance measurerers are a good idea.

Otherwise go old school. If I'm alome I park a tire on one end of the 150' tape.

Our range uses old firehose spiked to the ground and marked with distance.

I use a 300’ roll-a-tape.
