Surprised I didn't see this anywhere. Unless my PF/GF is no good...

Maybe she can take care of that little matter involving Ted Nugent...should be light work for her.

I'm surprised that anyone would call her unqualified. She seems like the exact type that should be in a leadership role when it comes to 2A.

She did a pretty good interview on John's show. Touched on running for the board a bit, but talked about lots of other stuff. Including her children book.

- lifelong shooter
- competitive shooter at the highest level
- hunter
- safety advocate
- mother
- clear idea of what 2A means
- smart and can deliver her ideas

I can't think of someone we need more, great choice.

This is great news. There was a time where there seemed to be a divide between USPSA and the NRA. While I don't see it as much any more, this should certainly help with Julie's experience.

This could be the best thing to happen to the NRA and its members in decades.

It’s either reasonably good news, or this^^^

Finally, an election candidate that I actually like gets the nod.

I've always like her. Hopefully she does great things with her time on the board.

Agree excellent choice and she will be a solid voice.

Side note, I like how she is a good person and not into the other “Instagram trying to be sexy nonsense” that many females in the sport try to be. She would be a female shooter that I would be fine introducing my daughter too.

Congrats, Julie!

We need more solid people on the board, especially females.

Congrats to Julie!

I really think the NRA would be much better off with her in a senior leadership position but hopefully this will be a good start and maybe she can help to effect some real change inside the organization.

I voted for her as a Director, and love both her books. When I meet someone that wants to learn, I give them a copy of her book "Shoot!" and Tom Given's book "Fighting Smarter".

And "Toys, Tools, Guns, Rules" is a awesome safety book for youth and adult alike.

Frankly, I think every home should have all three of those books.
