Yesterday I burned through my old stock of 165 GS and transitioned to a new stock of 180 PDX1. In my platform (Glock 27), it occurred to me that the PDX1, while a bit softer than the GS, was still relatively heavy in recoil--this was especially noticeable one handed. I like the terminal performance characteristics of the PDX1. Winchester makes the "W Train and Defend" ammunition, which uses the same projectile. From a Glock 27 it average about 850fps, whereas the PDX1 is about 100fps faster. Does anyone know if the PDX1 bullet will perform properly in the mid-800s? I understand the long-term answer is a 9mm, but I'd prefer to work with what I have at this time.
Thanks.
