Looking for a shot timer that has an auxillary port that would allow triggering a visual start signal.
I'm looking at ways to test the difference between an audible and a visual start stimulus.
What I want to attempt is to tie the timer into something that will project a visual start image onto a target.
Ideas?

both the CED 7000Pro and regular 7000 have an output port, don't remember the voltage or amps it put out but I think the manual will tell you. If I remember correctly the idea is for them to trip a relay for a horn or light.

I believe that is the timer the local props wizards use on props that activate with the timer start. IIRC, they sometimes have to use a relay depending on the requirements of the domahicky they are activating. A while back I did some research on what was out there and there were some ready to go products available, mostly for use in SASS stages. One guy was working with the CED (big blue box that looks like a flip phone from the eighties) and was able to use it to have a switch remote start the timer but I do not believe he had much success in getting the timer to activate other stuff.
