A question - does the board strip EXIF info from uploaded photos for privacy?

...get converted to lower resolution JPEG images...

So I don't actually need to resize my pics to make them smaller! When I open them in Photoshop they are something like 40-50 inches wide, which is silly given the size of my screens. Good info to know. Thank you.
