Only good commie is a dead one, this is the last straw.

I will have strippers at my funeral just to be 101% patriotic.

Some communities in rural China reportedly believe that bigger attendances at funerals help to honour the dead and bring them good fortune.

But some experts say the erotic shows pay tribute to fertility.

I'm with the experts. I'll also come up with any bullshit reason that someone might even remotely consider buying in order to have strippers at my funeral.

I didn't know this was a thing until 5 minutes ago, and it's now my life mission to make it happen.

I'm not going to bother with strippers at my funeral. My deathbed however...

Okay, that was close but I’m still waiting on the “stiff” jokes. It’s like a nice slow hanging curveball just waiting there.

I've been to two weddings in China. No strippers. Not even at the bachelor party (only one of those).
Hoping to avoid any funerals.

In Taiwan, there are small glass booths along the roadways. Inside are pretty, young girls selling Betel Nuts (https://landlopers.com/2013/10/20/betel-nuts).
Not quite as fun as funeral strippers, but less trouble with the wife.

My friend experienced this a few years ago when he went to his grandfather's funeral in Taiwan.

Pretty awkward for him (he's a Christian) but the consensus was that the old man would have enjoyed the show.

News story about this (not my friend's grandfather)

Some 50 pole dancers performed on top of Jeeps during the funeral procession of former Chiayi City county council speaker Tung Hsiang in Chiayi City, southern Taiwan.

Tung's son said his father appeared in a dream and told him he wanted his memorial to be "hilarious," according to CNN affiliate SET TV.
The procession featured the dancers, traditional totems, drummers, imported luxury cars, and flag bearers -- an homage to the politician's apparent love of crowded places.
"It's so hilarious on the street. I've never seen this before," a passerby told SET TV.
