I’m unfortunately getting ready to board an airplane. Downloaded the nbc sports app just in case there is WiFi, but it is not a big plane.

I haven't watched an NFL game in a year and a half or so. I couldn't even tell you what channel it is on. I will miss the commercials though. Of course you get to see them all later anyway, but it was cool seeing them as they come out.

I wasn't planning on it . . . the wife insists on watching the halftime show and commercials. I'm more concerned with getting my CAD software working right.
Unfortunately, my desk is in the living room with the TV. I'm probably going to put the headphones in and listen to some podcasts.

I thought the Sprint ad with the AI "coworkers" mocking the guy was funny, too - if a bit creepy. But the derpy robot saying "you have a dumb face" hah.

I gave up my GamePass, but I've watched the Pats whenever they were on network TV this year simply for the solitary veteran who came out of the tunnel to stand in respect of the flag/anthem. I'm watching tonight as well. Ironic considering how they embarrassed my Falcons a year ago. Go PATS!

Ram Trucks and MLK speech was inspiring, if a little weird.
Side story: If you are ever in Atlanta, take some time to stop in to the MLK Museum and learn a little about Dr. King. It is well worth it.

At the risk of being a Debbie Downer is anyone else a little underwhelmed? I enjoyed the vehicle adverts and, of course, Star Wars but it seems like the "soul" behind some of the adverts was gone.
Surprising game, though. This may be the first full game I've watched in recent history. I don't buy into the drama created by NFL haters lately, just have lost my enthusiasm for football and replaced it with other passions.

Yeah, they're decent to pretty good. Nothing yet really stands out though, even to the level of the Bud frogs as silly as that whole phenom was.
Only watched the National Anthem. Pink looked like a cud chewing cow with her big wad of bubblegum. And her version sucked ass. Fuck the nfl.
What I did tonite? Placed a burial flag in an appropriate display case.

Diving GBR as a day trip was HUGELY disappointing. Nothing but dead coral.
Back on topic. The CX lounge at HKG didn't show the game and I didn't care.

I've been sick as hell and didn't make it to the end of the first half while skipping the commercials on DVR. Even though I know who won I'll watch the end of the game later today.

You may be right but I would think the NFL only gets paid for the spot on air, not proceeds from the content afterwards since it’s not theirs. Obviously, I don’t know how their contracts are structured so that’s a WAG.
