Summer is coming up, and my bike awaits.
I already have plenty of touring gear and motorcycle jackets, but I'm needing some kind of pants a bit more practical to wear for short trips to town, something I don't have to take off and stash when I get to where I'm going, or wear like a snowsuit in the Florida summer heat when off the bike.
So, who makes a good, comfortable and durable set of reinforced jeans (or similar pants) for motorcycling that doesn't cost over $100?

Under $100, not sure. Joe Rocket and Draggin were the only ones I used. Might get them under $100 shopping around.
Only went down once, and that was in training with the Draggin. Worked as advertised. Note they are heavy and still pretty warm.

Draggin Jeans, shop around, use coupon codes.
If the motorcycle jeans are good, $270 should be acceptable, too. I rode in a leather racing suit most of the years. But I'm getting too old for this shit. So, I'll probably try this:
dainese.com/us/en/pants/denim (http://www.dainese.com/us/en/pants/denim)
Or I go to my tailor with my favorite jeans and tell her, where she should sew on some kevlar inside. I think, I know the critical areas from enough race track trainings (as far as I remember: knees, ass and the outer sides of the hips/thighs, I will have a look at my multiple-damage racing suit).

Klim gear is top of the heap in the "adventure riding" community. I've been planning on a pair of these for awhile.

While I’ve never owned any and they are a little more than $100, Aerostich makes some motorcycle jeans:

I’ve been very pleased with all the other Aerostich products I’ve had over the years.
Totally agree. I used their Darien gear for my multi-state cross country trips. Top stuff but not unspendy.

I use these. Comfortable and durable. I little over the $100 but I think worth it
No, I haven't "tested" them.
And American made.
Also in black and big sizes.
