I pocket carry my 43 in a nemesis pocket holster. I'm considering getting a green laserguard or laserguard pro. This pistol is my primary EDC. I wear Deluth trading ballroom jeans that have huge canvas pockets,so room isn't an issue. I'd like the idea off a compact light laser combo but if it has downsides I'm unaware of I'd like to know. Came anyone offer sound advise.

If it were me I'd opt for the laser only model less bulky, and no real need for the light IMHO, but whatever one you pick ya can't go wrong with them..

What type of scenario would you find the laser more advantageous than the irons?

The sight radius of the laser is muzzle to target. There is only one focal plane for the eyes to focus on - the target.

A G43 has nice enough sights so that the advantage in accuracy will not be huge if both are visible, and there will be conditions in which the laser is not visible. However, at night, the visibility of the laser will beat anything else.

The same reason I have Aimpoints on my rifles, because it's best for me.
