Mount for RMR 06 for a Mossberg 590 A1

I would appreciate some direction here. As best I can tell I need to mount a Pic rail, then an adapter suited to mount the RMR to the Pic rail.... Is this correct? Suggestions?

All I know is that an rmr on a low larue qd mount on the XS rail/ghost ring is to high to get a good cheek weld. A poor cheek weld with a shotgun is noticable.

With a stock that you can rise the comb it may be workable.
