Does any one know the legalities of concealed carry on trains? Amtrack Etc. Thanks for your help.

No go on Amtrak.

You can check a firearm in your checked baggage on Amtrak now, but you cannot carry on the train.

Bear in mind, Amtrak has their own police force...

On the other hand it is a rule, not a law. The worst they can do is make you get off the train.

Being that Amtrak is owned wholly by the US government, I don't think I'd want to test this theory.

That's not how federal law works. Many federal regulations carry criminal penalties. Also, the portion of a rail station operated by Amtrak may be a "federal facility," so the prohibition on possession of firearms in federal facilities may apply (18 U.S.C. § 930).

Bear in mind, Amtrak has their own police force...

And TSA VIPR teams.
