Luckily I bought Magpul AICS mags instead of actual AI mags, I'll have to make sure to keep it that way.

Looks to be taken out of context:

He can run his mouth because thus far US gun restrictions have not messed with bolt action rifles. I don’t really care about his political views, AI builds a good rifle and that’s all I care about. I’ll still be buying an AI.

If it’s the best, I’ll still buy it. I care about the fact that my ticket was honored at the circus, not about the monkey on the organ’s outlook of me.

Journalism is dead. It's now all fake news.

If it's in fact a false article, the CEO should get out ahead of it and issue a clear statement that he does not support these statements.

Not being willing to head out with his own statement and leaving us with a third-party recollection of a phone call as his way of refuting this article does not instill confidence. It seems more like he all of a sudden realized that his statements were unacceptable to his own customer base, and decided to do a wishy-washy, non-committing refutation via someone else.

Until he actually refutes the article himself, that's the impression this whole thing is giving off.
