IIRC from the Twang and Bang video

3 months on mid power a123 cell

3 weeks on usb rechargeable battery

From a Vortex Rep:
"We have finished battery life testing and I have the final specifications now.

Using a 1500mAh CR123A the battery life is approximately 1500hrs. We used an equivalent brightness setting that competing sights use for their battery life specifications.

The rechargeable LFP123A batteries are lower capacity (600mAH), so battery life will be shorter. Approximately 600 hours."

I'm actually tempted to replace my Aimpoint T-2 with one :o The slight bit of distortion caused by my Astigmatism with the AP is less with both holographic sights like this Vortex and the Eotech.

Unfortunately I'm teetering back and forth, the obvious advantage of the T-2 and the fact I already have the AP might not happen for this AR. If I was starting from scratch right now I'd probably grab the Vortex and save $$$ :cool:

VDMN, let me know if you want to pick one up for T&E all you need to do is sell some of the optics you already reviewed haha

That's true.

I'm very close to doing a full review of the 1-8x strike eagle, who knows.
