If you are serious about revolvers, be in Dallas in mid November. This is always a killer event, and I will bring a lot of guns that are literal museum pieces to let folks see first hand. Plus.....BBQ on the range.

I want to go pretty bad. But I'm not sure I want to go "reschedule trip to Scotland" bad. If this turns out to be the last year for some reason I'll be pissed.

For those of us who can't come, will you post some photos here? (Of the museum pieces, that is, not the BBQ).

Ha! I'm pretty much done with Florida. Had a very good friend move to Dallas a few years ago. His dad was, now retired, the chaplain for the Cowboys. Super cool dude. Anyway, he can't stop raving about Texas.

Why is everything in November this year?
My company has an office in Dallas and I'd love a chance to go back to Hard 8, but my Nov is already booked solid.

Man how I wish I could make this event!
My very first competition was a bowling pin match with a 4" 19-2 shooting .357 mag 158 gr Hydra-Shoks. (I hadn't thought about this in years, lol!)
I'm already committed to the Ft Benning Multigun match that weekend, otherwise I'd be there. Looks like a great time.

Just sayin...Revolvers in Rhode Island has a ring to it. Would love to stroll down memory lane with a wheel gun! Perhaps next year after I get settled in the new job in Yankee Land.

Any other revolver-centric stuff at your place coming up?

I would think that would be a higher number here. (remember the conversation between a sheriff and some others, about UC's and Facebook and all the issues they were dealing with)

My first: bowling pin match. 4" S&W NY-1 and cor-bon LSWCHP +P+ .38 going about 1000fps from 4". Been a while since I've thought of those days as well. I still have a 4" NY-1. And some buffalo bore LSWCHP. Alas, no bowling pin shoots...

Wayne and I have already planned on putting a dedicated snub class in the schedule. Likely a One Day.

She will be a fixture at all future events doing admin stuff and generally adding a nice offset to Wayne and I. Plus, I would be in the dog house if she missed a shooting and training opportunity. She carries a snub 442 all the time now, so she really wants to spend some serious time with the wheel guns.
