I happened to be at the Cleveland Museum of Art the other day and noticed a displayed handgun that had both front and rear sights:

It is a fancy pants Silesian wheel lock pistol from about 1630. I've seen early handguns with crude front sights before, but this is the earliest I can remember seeing with both front AND rear sights.

Does anyone know if there are any earlier examples of front and rear sight use on handguns?

I don't know of any earlier front and rear sights, but those are absolutely beautiful! Thank you very much for posting these pics, they are VERY interesting.
