My new Gen5 G17 is throated wrong for my 124gr Berry flatpoints unless they're at 1.09 COAL. I am using 3.7gr of Titegroup. Is this unsafe?

Had similar issue a while back. Emailed the powder folks (cant remember who it was now) and got the green light.

You're fine, I load down to 1.08 so that they will reliably chamber in one of my M&P 2.0's. That barrel has no leade whatsoever and I have to load my rounds short. I have a feeling if I send it back to S&W they will say that it's in spec.

My Berry's 124 FP are loaded to 1.035 using 5.3gr of Unique. Different burn rates though.

When I was loading Berrys FPs, I used 4.2 gr of Titegroup at 1.120. You should be fine with loading down to 1.09 using your load of 3.7 gr Titegroup.

I've loaded and shot > 50K worth of 124 grain Berrys flat points, 4.0 grains of Titegroup loaded at 1.065. No pressure issues and it's a VERY accurate minor power factor load.

^^ My experience with CZ's was that you had to load short 1.00" with 4.0 of TG and a 124gr.

I think you'd be fine.

Much thanks, gents! I was hoping for practical advice not "work up a load, it's the only way you'll know" and I got it

Time to warm up ye old sicksfitty.

That's only so we can point and laugh when you blow your gun up. :P

That definitely seems odd and a bit more work overall. Are you using a case gauge or the barrel to check the rounds? I don't see why there would be a difference between the Gen 5 and other Glocks.

My Walthers won't eat MG 124 JHPs loaded any longer than 1.075", and I've put as much as 4.2 grains of VV N320 behind that bullet at that OAL in order to make ~130 PF out of a P99c (3.5" barrel). Primers were starting to get just a tiny bit flattened, but nothing scary. 1.09" OAL with a 124 gr bullet and 3.7 of a powder with a very similar burn rate wouldn't scare me. As always, be careful and use a chrono, but you're probably fine.
