Aguila Minishells: So are they any good?

Just to start, I'm not going to use them. I have mine loaded with the Federal FliteControl 00. I can shoot it just fine. For the rare zombie attack, my HD long arm is an AR-15.

The reason I ask is that I've recently read two articles on HD with these as a reasonable solution to the low capacity 'problem' of shotguns and recoil aversion. One article praised them as a game changer in the Shockwave. Supposedly they run in some gun and some with a gadget.

I have some thoughts about the Shockwave article but would like to see what folks thought of the shells. Internet searchs (not in great depth) said they were great on milk guns and reasonable penetration of gel.

I'm interested in opinions on this as well. They seem to be out of stock at most of the places I looked. I'd like to try some myself.

The only thing that will reliably feed them is my 870, and even then, it has had some issues. Obviously that isn't an issue in the single and double barrel varieties.

Reduced recoil 8 pellet is significantly more effective, and combined with the right shotgun, negates most recoil sensitivity issues. If it doesn't, then perhaps a practical examination of other firearm options is in order. Is a neat concept, but has enough issues that I won't try to force my ammunition into a role where it comes up wanting across a variety of considerations.

I bought a box 10 or so years ago, wouldn't feed in a 590. In our case they are good for a giggle once in a while and that's about it, unfortunately.

Yep. 8 pellet reduced recoil buck is where it's at. Noticeable difference.

The remington 8 pellet loads pattern unbelievable in my 870. Much better than federal flight control

Has anyone tried this adapter on their Mossberg?

This looks like a potentially interesting middle ground.

Stock 870 barrel?
What are you seeing for pattern size at 15 and 25 yards with that load?
