I started selling the VZ LTT G10 grips through my website. Sold out my first shipment in less than a week. Just placed another order and added in the same grips in Dirty Olive (green) and Hyeana Brown (brown) coming on the next shipment. Just a heads up to you 92 fans out there that like the LTT VZ grips. 19067

Wish the hyena brown had been an option when I ordered my first two set, lol. It's okay though, I've got more than two Berettas, so I'll be ordering more of these anyway. Any chance you could get VZ to throw in their o-rings with the grips?

I probably will just use what comes on the pistols I buy. The Langdon M9 comes with these, and I believe when the LT92 comes out it will have these as well. But if it came with them in dark gray... that'd be badass.

Either way options are awesome. A lot of folks seem to really like the dirty olive and brown colors.

Thank you Mr Langdon, these are very nice.

Grey would be neat for a future color here as well.

For the Beretta-ignorant folks amongst us: How do these differ from the grips that come from Wilson on the Brig Tac, and standard Beretta grips?

I found the ad copy from the LTT website. Anything else?:
"These exclusive LTT grips are made by VZ to Ernest Langdon Specifications. They feature directional checkering to lock your grip down the right way. The checkering also goes higher on the grip panel, where it needs to be."

Edit: This post was helpful in another thread:

They're thinner; similar to the Wilson Ultra Thin G10 grips. If you've got small/medium hands you'll probably like the reduced grip circumference.

Do the grips come with slotted grip screws, or do they work with the factory grip screws?

They do not come with slotted grip screws. They will work with the factory grip screws, but you're much better off using rubber washers rather than the star washers that Beretta uses on the plastic factory grips.

Mr. Langdon- still learning my Beretta language. My assumption would be that these fit on a M9. Do they ship with everything needed to install or do you recommend adding some other small items. They look awesome and I'd like to order the green for my M9.

They are replacement grip panels, that is all. You would use them to replace the grip panels that came on the gun, likely plastic factory ones.

They will fit all 92 and 96 DA/SA and DAO pistols which includes the M9.

They will not fit any 92/96 models with frame mounted safety levers or European style mag release buttons. Only an issues for people that have these fairly rare Beretta pistols.

I recommend using rubber o-rings to replace the factory metal star washers that come on the gun anytime you use wood or G10 grips. While not required, I think the o-rings work better on those type of grips and they do not gouge the material like the star washers do.

I tried these and it was with great disappointment that they didn't work for me. I like the texture very much, just the right amount of aggressive texture without being too severe for concealed carry and exactly where it needs to be. My big hands didn't like them, but they're a quality product.

I ordered a black pair over the weekend for my 92A1 and they arrived yesterday. Man, those really make the grip feel nice! I have a couple of sets of Wilson Ultra Thins, but the more narrow upper edge of these grips is a significant improvement for me. As a lefty, I had to work down the upper rear of the right hand Wilson grip as it was chewing into the inside of my thumb, but these don't have that issue. I will be ordering more of these.

So not to burden you with too many colors, but have you considered selling them in Black Cherry? I have a set of standard-sized Beretta grips in that shade and everyone says they look very nice against the fairly high gloss black finish of the pistol. But your grips work much better for me than the standard ones (I really like both how slim they are and the high checkering).

I'm hoping that others will chime in for the Black Cherry. It is very much an old school look, but when I've brought a 92 with my existing (too fat) Black Cherry grips to the range, even the young range officers want to take a look at it. The 92's are already photogenic, and the Black Cherry makes them look even better

Ordered a standard black set for my older non-radius frame Centurion. Picked up that gun last year and haven’t shot it much. Setting it up identically to my CenTac. Really digging these grips on my LTT M9. I like these thinner grips on the non-radiused backstrap Beretta’s. I still prefer standard width grips on the radius backstrap cut 92s.

Ordered a set of the black cherry. I'm up to three 92's so if I like 'em I'll have to grab some in different colors. I was also very tempted by the polished hammer springs but I already had to put the grips on my credit card and I already have the springs I want in the guns I have. Nah, you're not "that guy." That guy would ask for "pearl" and then we'd all have to respond with what George Patton said about pearl grips. But "Ivory?" Ivory might be sweet. I'm more of a Black Cherry guy myself, but Patton certainly would have outfitted his M9 with Langdon Tactical Ivory VZ grips.

And Patton's back up Glock 19 would certainly have had a Gadget SCD on it.

They do tend to loosen up if you don't use rubber o-rings under the screws. O-rings are recommended over the washers to prevent the washers from gouging and cracking the grip. I ordered a 3/16" ID o-ring to use for mine. PM me if you'd like me to send you a set. I had to order 1000, so I may have extras. :D

Best grips for Beretta 92, EVER.

I've tried'em all (almost), vz, wilson, the original beretta slim grips found in combat model, ergo grips, and so on. I've received them saturday, I think they are the first ones that landed In Italy (I had a friend in vacation in US that bought me one pair).

Fit and finish is superb, they are slim with an hourglass shape that is slim where it counts, for my medium size hand they fit perfectly, giving a solid grip even with sweaty hands. The texture is REALLY well tought, I use my 98 for ccw, on appendix, the provide an excellent grip on the draw without being sticky with garments.

Excellent.

So does everyone want them in Black? Likely I would only do one color for now.

Black works for me.

Yep, always an easy place to start.

I would be interested in grips for the 92 compact. Black is fine, I do like OD green.

I would be fine with black. I have a set of full-size LTT grips in black on my main carry 92A1. Not normally a fan of all black, but they look and work great on the gun.

OK, black it is. I just ordered some and hopefully they will be here in a couple of weeks.

Thanks Ernest!

I forgot to do the update here. But yes, the VZ compact grips are in stock and shipping. A bunch of you said you wanted them, so we are expecting the orders to start flowing in quickly.

I bought two sets and like the bigger guns they are a huge improvement to the 92 Compact.

Love the Compact grips. I’ve got XL hands with skinny fingers and the grips fit me very well. The texture is outstanding; enough to anchor the gun but fine for carry. Thanks for expanding the product line! Now I need to order a pair for the BT.

I just put a pair of these on my old duty 92G I'm fixing up for my 14 year old to start shooting Production Division with. They're fantastic. Totally changed the feel of the gun in the hand. Between these, the 12# hammer spring, Elite 2 hammer and mag release....I forgot how much I loved that old 92. Kid's gonna be shooting a nicer gun than me.

Has there been any interest in these grips for the Vertec frames? A set of these in brown would look great on the M9A3.

Can anyone comment that has experience with LTT grips and Lok grips golf ball texture on which one offered more traction?

Also thinking about hitting up VCD grips about doing some.

VCD grips are superb-for control. In the real world, unless you sand 'em down a bit, they'll chew up clothing, especially sweaters. My VCDs are pretty much reserved nowadays for match/training use-but since I like to train with what I actually use, the tend to sit in a box. Control-wise, they're excellent, though.

Currently on my 1911s I'm running a set of Hogue checkered/double diamond G10s on my Colt Series 70, and a set of Magpul's logo grips on my SIG GSR. Both offer good control and user friendliness.

Langdon LTT grips for my Beretta 92 are superb, and have an excellent balance between control and user friendliness. I unhesitatingly recommend them.

Best, Jon

You may also want to take a look at Stonercnc.com for Beretta grips. Their full-checkered are very nice, and their super aggressives have texture literally everywhere; nobody offers more.

Put the Pachmayr G10s on two of my 92s.
One minor thing is that the rear edge is pretty pronounced. But, about 5 minutes with a round file smoothed them right out.

I will second the Stoner super aggressive. I like the LTT surface but the grips are too thin for me. I haven't tried the LOK.

I have a habit of tuning up the Hogue G10s. I really like their checkered pieces for the 92, but as you note, there's work to do where my strong hand thumb knuckle needs to be.

This may be blasphemy, but I got a set of the giant finger grooved Hogue rubber grips. And I really like them.

I liked the wraparound at first. Carved the grooves off the front as much as I could. I have really big hands and still eventually went to something smaller, maybe after shooting a variety of other guns with smaller grips.

How much thicker are the Stoner sa's? I've loved the look of them, but I feel the LTT grips are just about perfect in thickness.

The Stoners aren't "thin" grips per se. They aren't thinned down like the LTTs and Wilsons. They will feel a bit slimmer than factory grips because they taper towards the edge of the grip, where the factory grips don't. I have them on all of my 92s and they're by far my favorite. But, I have large hands. The best feature of the Stoner grips is the texturing over the entire surface. I really don't know why that isn't standard across the available options.
