Holy shit, this is a screaming deal. Everything but the lower and the optic, really. 6.5 Grendel is offered, too :( (#PoorFag (https://pistol-forum.com/usertag.php?do=list&action=hash&hash=PoorFag))

Upper, rail, barrel, BCG, charging handle, grip, stock, the excellent MBT trigger, just add optic and lower.

That's pretty good for an un-assembled rifle.

Can I buy the dillo dust and barrel for $105?

Because then it'll be worth it and then some.

I can help you on the Dillo dust next time you're in town, but it's a package deal with this regarding the barrel. I know for a fact that one of our SMEs has a legit .5 MOA, 10 shot group LaRue PredatAR 7.62 so these barrels are being sold for a very, very good price.

My PredatAR .308 shot sub minute out to 800.

I don't care much for some of the BS the owner has pulled, so if there is a competing product from a company with a better moral and ethical compass, I'll choose the other company. But can't argue LaRue makes good equipment.

What exactly are you referring to about the owner?

Larue makes quality gear but I am not sure they are as great relative to other companies as many would have you believe.

Here comes the moral and ethical compass derail......

If one were to try and navigate through all that BS and not be a total hypocrite one would probably be living in some hole, naked and hungry.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. And I suspect everyone here, including me, has better things to do with their time than concern themselves with my opinion of LaRue as a person.

Ordered one in 5.56 was going to build one but the price for the Larue kit was cheaper.

I've been waiting an eternity for Precision Firearms to send my Criterion-barreled Grendel rifle.

After seeing this deal, I just had to order an upper kit. Two Grendel's will enter the ring, only one will emerge victorious. I am not placing any bets on which one it will be just yet.

I've got about 100 rounds down the pipe so far. Larue ended up giving those that purchased the upper kit the option to buy a lower for $200. Got mine yesterday. Assembled it, slapped the upper on it, threaded on a suppressor and hit the range this morning. The upper is almost sub-moa-ish so far. I can shoot bolt actions with 1/2moa precision most days if they're capable. There's always a chance that I'm just not as proficient with a gas gun. Anyhow, I'll continue to shoot it and see if it (or the shooter) improves with more rounds. I do like it, it's a very nice rifle for a $1000 investment.

I've had mine for a bit now (16" 5.56) I think I've got about 300-400 rounds through it. No accuracy info as I just zeroed it at 50 yards. Hopefully this spring I'll stretch its legs. It's been used by a few people during trainings at work and general drills with no issues. So far I really like it I really like the trigger, the hand guard is very nice I like its slim profile, I wasn't sure about the grip but I like it. The tranquillo I'm unsure about its obnoxious when you're standing next to it (since it's a break) but I will most likely change it for something else. Mines sitting on an Anderson lower and seems to work just fine. I have no complaints. 2036420365

I agree on trigger and grip. Was on the fence but they are both very nice. The whole thing just feels solid and well constructed.

Had another short range session during the week, 60 rounds fired. Total round count: 160. Seems like barrel is starting to settle in a bit. The 3-shot groups are starting to get nice and tight at 100. Also, about to delve into the world of shooting off a tripod in the coming weeks. It will never replace a good prone position with the bipod and rear bag, but there have been times in hunting situations where it would have been a useful tool to have in the toolbox.

LaRue is now selling 7.62 / .260 / 6.5CM (http://www.larue.com/larue-ultimate-762-260-upper-kit) uppers. I guess that's to use on a LaRue lower you already own?

Anyone have any info or opinions on the Larue 6.5CM?

I have a BCM enhanced light weight rifle that I rarely use and was thinking the 6.5CM might get more use for range and possible hunting.

Went to the range last weekend and strapped the Magnetospeed on my Larue. Got a avg MV of 2427 with Hornady Black ELD-M, SD of 12.5. Zero looked good. Plugged the numbers in BallisticARC and hit the long range steel course. Got 5/5 hits on 12” plates at 400 and 600 yards with ease. After the barrel settled in this rifle turned into a real great shooting gun. I added an adjustable gas block, JP LMOS and H2 SCS and it’s really a joy to shoot. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171103/e48cbcfa04ac78c1cc1ee982efac32cd.jpg

What’s the weight of your rifle in that set up? And is that the predatar or stealth barrel? Nice looking rifle by the way.

The preadtar I don’t have a scale but I would guess 7.5-8 pounds. It’s pretty balanced though.

Received my UU kit within 3 days.

Just hit 8 weeks waiting on my matching lower...

Ok thanks. How are you liking the predatar barrel? I'm still debating between the stealth or the predatar.

I like it just fine. No issues seems accurate I haven’t really pushed it super hard or far. I went with the predatar profile since I wanted it a bit lighter.
