Assuming you mean BCM SPR mod 0, in which case a 2.5-10x would probably work well in the 18" barrel config.

A buddy has one, and likes it better than his Larue. It's equally accurate, and less fussy about ammo.

Clusterfrack,thanks for your response.

What,I haven't been able to find out is why BCM elected to use a 1-8"twist instead of 1-7".Customer wants to shoot MK262,exclusively.

Kyle Defoor helped BCM design a 1/7.7 twist upper specifically for using MK262 ammunition based on his military experience. According to him it's the optimum twist rate for that round. I have no experience with it, just another thing to consider.

Not a BCM barrel, but I've got a Kreiger 18" 1-7.7 twist barrel on a build that has been put to good use on a USPSA silhouette at 715 with 77gr IMI Razor Core and 69gr Federal GMM with no issues.

Thanks again for the help.I called Black Hill Ammunition, they said 1-8" will stabilize the MK262.DanM,thanks,I looked and saw the upper on Kyle Defoor's Facebbok page,as well as BCM's website.I'd like to see a more detailed article.

We were using our Mk262 clone load (77 Berger/24 gr XBR8208) for good results out to 900 yds.

I have a 3-9 Leupold fire dot TMR on my SPR. I shoot 75 grain and 69 grain in mine because I'm cheapish. My SPR was built by Monty at Centurion Arms.

Here's my scope.

This thread is about BCM, not Centurion Arms.

Anything you buy from Bravo Company is backed by the integrity of the company's owner, Paul Buffoni, a man I would lay it on the line for. Buy in confidence.

It's now up to my customer to make a decision.I've only heard good things about BCM's integrity.

I used one of BCM's SS410 barrels to build a RECCE clone:

https://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-16-Recce-SS410-Barrel-with-Mid-Length-Gas-p/bcm-brl-ss410-16-8.htm

I know it's not a SPR, but the barrel is outstanding, and comes from the same place. With cheap ammo, it will shoot 5-shot groups at 100 meters that measure under an inch. With the good stuff, like Black Hills 77-grain or the IMI Razor 77-grain, it will shoot a 10-shot string into 5/8" at 100 meters. I shoot it with a dedicated can, a Griffin SPR that works very well.

I'm using this optic with it: http://www.bushnell.com/tactical/riflescopes/elite-tactical/dmr-ii-3-5-21x-50mm. I really like the Horus H-59 reticle.

The BCM barrels that Paul uses are really nice. And like LL mentioned, he is an excellent guy that does a lot of terrific things for our warfighters and first responders.

SWFA SS Tactical Riflescope 6x42mm or 10x42mm MOA-quad reticle.

Thank you all again. My customer still hasn't committed as yet.Personaly,I'm very interested in the RECCE rifle concept.SeriousStudent,I'm interested in the rifle you mentioned, thanks. If BCM did a complete rifle with the KD4 upper that DanM wrote about,I'd consdider that also.

Sure, this is what I put together:

18046

It was a lot of fun to build, and is even more fun to shoot.
