Yes, we should be concerned with the trends we are seeing and why those trends are happening. One of the reasons we're seeing these trends is fear mongering. The problem is that to many people forget that "social media" is suppose to be a way for us to connect further with the real world. Not become a world of it's own. If your facebook, and all the other stuff, doesn't enhance your real life, then it's kind of useless isn't it?

I'm not a huge fan of social media, especially Facebook. I've dropped all but one FBF, and only follow a handful of grips and businesses.

But today, Facebook saved my loading bench. After running out of juice in my drill, I looked to find the movers had already packed the charger and spare.

Shout out to my neighborhood Facebook page, and the gal from Next door was over in two minutes. Had I not been able to get it disassembled, it would have been left behind:(
