I'm posting this to get us a little distracted from the irritating/frustrating/infuriating/depressing news cycle we a constantly dealing with nowadays.
This is a fascinating and amusing story about a counterfeiter who gained a Robin Hood like popularity in the southern part of Switzerland in the 19th century and now whose name is used to describe a new "currency" in that same region.

Apparently there's a counterfeit money museum in Switzerland and for some reason that just makes me smile. :-)
