Glock Customer Service Issues

90% – Shooter/User Error
9.9% – Ammunition
0.05% – Maintenance (Or Lack Thereof)
0.05% – Mechanical

While I am a Glock fan - and my 19, 17 and 26 ran well - I don't think those numbers covered the 42s. Mine jammed solid as rock on its very first round. It continue to jam with all ammo (expensive ones) and fired out of battery, with smoke and flames coming out the ejector port and it had to go back to the factory. It still is finicky to say the least. My friend bought one with the same issues several months later after the supposed fixes of the first batch.

Maybe this is an April fool post that was delayed.

I too, think this is not correct. Unless you count "customer used range ammo that works in older Glocks and just about everything else" as "Shooter/User Error."

So 99.95% of the time it has nothing to do with Glock? Yeah, okay. [emoji849]

Given the fact that "you're limp-wristing" has been a running joke about Glock CS for years, coupled with the corroborating experiences of many PF members, I wouldn't be surprised at all if these were the official Glock internal defect numbers.

I agree that the 42 alone would scuttle those stats. All those covert, unadvertised part reworkings on all those jammamatics, and it's still 99 percent shooter/user error and range fodder? It is to guffaw...
