Went to the LGS yesterday (shout out for Premiere Arms in Brownsburg, IN) to pick up a T&E Boberg XR9S for a magazine article, and while I was there, I saw a little .25ACP Mauser 1910 (http://unblinkingeye.com/Guns/10-14M/10-14m.html) sitting in the showcase, looking lonely. I brought it home to keep my .32 Mauser 1914 company.

Sometimes "just because" is a perfectly adequate reason for buying a gun.

I think what's so attractive about the little 1910 is that, unlike most .25s, its proportions are the same as a regular-size auto's, rather than a weird hydrocephalic slide sitting atop a bobbed and oddly-proportioned grip. It's just like a regular gun, only smaller.

All those perfectly placed words, and not a single picture.

My heart, she breaks.

Hold your water, I had to wait for it to stop raining so I could take it outside for photos. :D

I heart my family's 1914 (which is in my brother's hands :( ) Such a fun gun to shoot!

Do you have a .25 and .32 Ortgies to go along with the Mausers?

I'd like to hear a truthful review of the Boberg. They seem to be working quite well, just that production is agonizingly slow.

Kawai'i. Good choice.
