I read that Lego heads are forty caliber and my son saw the pictures of some loaded in cases. One thing led to another and I sized/deprimed, re-primed, belled, confirmed no powder, seated a head with proper PPE, and crimped. Then annoyed my wife by loading the G27 (chambered fine) and shooting my airgun backstop:

Awesome! They feel bigger than .40 when you step on them!

reminds me of the 38 special plastic cases with the plastic bullet that used a primer. I remember shooting those in my basement with my dad growing up. don't remember the brand but lots of family fun
Your famous now man. Seen this all over the Internet.

I'm not cool enough to be a trendsetter. Initially read about the 0.40" diameter on TFB soon after they posted but I may have been the first to shoot one and post a photo.

Do they sell just the heads. I need a hundred for cat/dog/squirrel "training". I don't want to kill them but a good thumping would be cool. I am not an airsofter. But I could Lego the shit out of them.

They do at the LEGO store. You can probably also find them on eBay.

Only for revolver calibers:

"No Second Place Winner" also describes making them from wax.
