How about reloading journals? I think it's a good idea, especially for the knowledge sharing. Thoughts?

I'll do it! I log my stuff in my training journal already. I don't experiment much and have only tried a few loads.

I couldn't think of much more boring to read but . . . I don't reload :p.

I voted mods here are shit. (J/k - this place is the best hand optimized projectile launching devices forum on the webz)

What about one giant reloading data thread?

I think a mega-thread on load data with the type of ammo being loaded in the title area so on can search a load is better. There doesn't seem to be a huge influx of posts regarding handloading specific threads.

I reload and save all kind of money ...... make very accurate stuff.
You don't need a timer .. or have to own a Glock 19 .... or have any rank in BJJ.... to reload.

Not sure about individual journals, but a compilation of data could be useful.

We've got data compilation threads for pistol (https://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?19034-Known-good-pistol-loads) and rifle (https://pistol-forum.com/showthread.php?19035-Known-good-rifle-loads) loads, but there's no real organization, and thus they're somewhat hard to search. Arguably what would be most useful would be something like a pair of google docs spreadsheets, one for rifle and one for pistol, divided into tabs per caliber, or better yet, a P-F.com load data database that would work much like Hodgdon's reloading data site, except not be limited to Hodgdon powders, and presumably would be all user-contributed data.

Yep, sub forums are good. I don't reload, yet......

Just so everyone knows, one can pick more than one response to the poll.

Please do not let an opportunity to complain about LL, TJ et al, go by the wayside... irrespective of how you feel about reloading.

I think it would be good. Being able to break out pistol and rifle into their own subforums, and have stickies at the top with recepies/sources/disclaimer. Within would be powder selection and member driven load development/testing/trouble shooting.

I'm imagining the reloading section on the enos forum without the major/minor power level differences.

There's already a ton of load data around, I'm not sure there's a call for a bunch more here.

But the journal aspect of it, the journey of becoming a more experienced loader, is interesting. "Here's what I learned today." How this equipment works, little techniques I figured out that aren't in the manuals, observations about products that aren't often discussed, how to (not) screw up. Hands-on, voice of experience stuff. That's what this place seems to excel at, to a greater extent than many other places.

Can anyone guess why this is bugging the crap out of me?

Thanks for the mention of the Mr Bullet Feeder. That has been added to my list.

It can be good. But a disclaimer needs to be put up front. People post erroneous crap and blow guns up, because of stupidity. A good reloading manual and data book go a long ways in keeping the many things in check.

Bottom line: Shit happens when you are are not paying attention.

Are those bolts the wrong size? Never seen a press installed where the heads of the bolts are proud of the holes that way...

Carriage bolts not keying into square recesses (if there are any) or are upside down and too long?

Yup, hardware store fail. At 15 seconds, the holes appear round.

OK, I'll say it: What's to poll? Slide locks back, reload gun!

On a side note, I plan to get into reloading in the near future and think it is a great idea.

I read way more than I post...as it should be!
But I cast, powder coat and handload 10-15 k of 9mm and .38 spl each year...because the Drills you guys post require a lot of friggin' ammo for me. I thank you all for that.
I would appreciate having such a resource available.
