Love how they just keep driving instead of checking if the guy is OK.

I bet they pulled over after slowing down and getting around the cars on the shoulder.

I saw that the other day and was thankful the deputy's vehicle was not occupied.

My wife and I then reminisced and laughed afterward about riding our motorcycle through Wyoming (from the CO border) up to MT leaned over at what felt like a 45* angle to compensate for the wind. That said...what an awesome state on a variety of levels.

Windy as hell in DC today. Everyone stay safe if you have bad weather!

Yeah, power lines dropping.

You guys must be getting the winds that have been running through western NC the past several days. Be safe.

Gah dang. Glad no one was hurt.

We took I80 back across last year, overnighted in Rawlins, not too far from the Sinclair Refinery. I don't think it stopped blowing all day and all night. Heck if it stopped, I'd guess everybody in Wyoming would fall over.

Fox news covered this and my wife was like "very glad the officer wasn't in the car..."

My response was "I'd love to hear that conversation with his sergeant...Hello Sarge? Yeah a truck fell on my car...It's flattened...Ohhh yeah? And you weren't in it?"

Winds were crazy up this way last night too. I was surprised we didn't have power outages where I live in the boonies. Many people didn't have power this morning.
