My indoor range has lame backstops, so I'm going to need some frangible in quantity which - doesn't kill me financially yet also - runs in my gun.

I did a search, but didn't find too much. What's out there in Current Year that fits the bill?

Strongly prefer and have had excellent luck with Federal BC9NT3, http://www.le.vistaoutdoor.com/ammunition/federal/handgun/details.aspx?id=551.
The Speer 53365, http://www.le.vistaoutdoor.com/ammunition/speer/handgun/details.aspx?id=53365 is GTG as well, but quantities seen have been smaller.
Remington Disintegrator LF9mmB, http://www.remingtonmilitary.com/ammunition/pistol%20revolver/disintegrator.aspx is okay but had a higher occurrence of harder primers that stopped striker fired guns, especially in .40.
ICC loads both a regular frang and a green frang, https://www.iccammo.com/. It is commercially available, but like the Remington occasionally stopped striker fired guns. I also find it to be less consistent overall.
Mil Mk254 is okay, if you can get it.

Related to this,

What is the avg. price to be expected for a 50rd. box or 1000rd. case of 9mm for non-institutional purchasers?

I've never purchased frangible before - seems like~$30-35/50 is typical?
