HK P30 Finger Groove Removal?

I can't stand finger grooves on any gun I shoot ( Glocks, HK) and was wondering if anybody has tried/ seen/ heard about the finger grooves being removed on the P30?

I have not. The grip area on the P30 is thin enough that a bright light will show through. I would be very hesitant to remove any material from the grip.

They're so shallow I never even noticed if they fit my hands or not.

If you don't mind a bigger grip and don't want to risk the dremel try one of those grip sleeves from hogue or whoever makes em.

I had looked at the full size USP 9mm.

I would need a rail adaptor for the 300U in a duty holster correct?

Also does it shoot/ handle like a P30?.... it looks kinda top heavy but I probably don't know what I'm talking about.

You need a rail adaptor to run standard WML.

For me, the USP handles better than the P30. It's not top heavy at all. Guns with flat sided grips tend to track better in recoil. The full size USP has the double recoil spring system so it cycled. A little slower than a P30 in terms of pure speed but nothing you'd notice in the real world.

USP FS, USP Compact and HK45C are my favorite HK handguns.

The USP FS series because of the hybrid match LEM, and the FS 45's ability to launch .45 Super. The USP C because it is a perfect size carry gun -- love the better trigger than the P series, flat sides, and magazine well shape. The HK45C as a compact version of the USP FS with an ability to also launch Super.

Seems like a cheap $20 fix versus buying an old expensive ass gun, but that's just me.
