Which sight tool can be used to tweak Heinie sights (already installed by Richard) on a P30? I just read something that the MGW tool (at least for the P2000, which is the only one I can find online right now) does not work with Heinie sights. Thoughts? Thanks.

Thanks..... Easy with Glocks and M&P's and their flat sides, not so easy with the tapered HK slide. Tightening the HK slide in a vice puts all of the load into bending the frame rails. I have done scores of Glock sights, the HK is much more challenging. I don't know how hard I can clamp it before the point of no return. And, I already tried, and the sights are TIGHT, the slide was twisting in the soft jaws.

I made a jury rigged clamp out of hardwood. Blocked the sides and clamped it down so it could not rotate. The slide was going nowhere. Brass drift and a hammer, as pictured above........

I’ve always used these rubbery plastic vise jaw pads (http://www.amazon.com/Wilton-Magmetic-Style-Grooved-Yellow/dp/B002RO32Y8/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1322592381&sr=8-7)and the tools Todd suggested. I Never had a problem drifting the sights or damaging the slides of most pistols with the exception of XDs.
