Black Friday or not - best I've ever seen OEM Glock mags for is $19. Currently that's the sale price at Natchez and CDNN.

I don't know much about binoculars but I got a Vanguard Endeavor HD 8x42 a couple weeks ago and like it. They currently have a $100 MIR rebate until the end of the December so I'll only end up paying $100.

It gets good reviews an various sites (plenty on Amazon) and one main complaint is chromatic aberration which I see but it's not bad. Again, this model normally sells for $200 so I'm happy with what I got for the money and understand it doesn't compare to much higher end models.

I can't find the ad but I recently saw the Vortex Diamondback 8x42 or 10x42 on sale for $130.

Gear Sector makes my favorite. That said, I've found the ideal slot for the WML to be at 12 o'clock on the end of the rail. Just put the backup behind it. Completely ambi and not in the way around cover/barricades.

I've found the 12 o'clock light setup to be my favorite whether it's in a class/match, working around cars, working inside structures, etc. I do have long arms and sometimes forget my solution isn't ideal for everyone.

Being right handed I tend to post up on the right side of cover when possible. So I prefer the light at 1 o'clock where it's not in the way. I either reach over or use a tape switch to activate it. With a WML it will likely be easier to operate on the same side as your support hand.

I have One of those IWC light mounts on a set of hand guards. It works very well. One caution is they dont work well on actual colt M4 hand guards with the double heat shield. Standard carbine hand guards with single heat shields will be fine.

best i've been able to do is $25 Transfer + $15 NICS, but that guy is a 2 hour round trip. He does discounts when you do more than one transfer at one time, and I think he hates me for the time I did 9 ($15 NICS + $25 + $20 + $10 + $10 + $10. The other 4 transfers were included as I bought firearms through him.) :D
$60 + tax is about middle of the road. Places that are higher either don't get a lot of traffic or are just trying to prevent people from getting stuff shipped in.

it does however force me to try and schedule purchases better.
example: Once I finally decide to get that Colt Competition in .45ACP, i'll also order up the O/U and SxS I've been contemplating getting. maybe even another Henry. Most FFLs around here will store stuff for extended periods of time for you, so I can space out the buys then condense the pickups, thereby reducing the total transfer costs.

Not a hunter, so I can't attest to the virtues of the knife from that perspective. I can say they are good all around knife for home, camp, backpacking, climbing pack etc. I see in the ad that they mention batoning with these knives but I've always been leery of doing so with any knife without a full tang, so I'd be somewhat careful in that arena.

The scandi grind is very easy to maintain and keep sharp with a bit of stropping or a small stone or ceramic.

Only real, tangible thing I will say about curved computer monitors is that I have two on my desk, side by side and once you find the sweet spot, you can get a sense of more immersion. With a TV that's ten feet away from you, that might not work as well.

Call it a gimmick or not, I doubt I'll ever go back to standard computer monitor, hell I might even spring for one of the ultra wide curved monitors.
