I'll be headed to Calibers at 4:00 this afternoon. If anyone is interested in joining me, shoot me a PM for my phone number or post here and I'll do the same.

EDIT: changed time from 6pm to 4pm. They're closing early for the holiday

You sure there's one this weekend? Last I heard from Jordan (yesterday), they're not starting up again till after the 1st of the year.

I may make it if my study schedule cooperates...can't say for sure though... finals week.

I was operating off the previously provided information of "2nd and 4th sundays each month." thanks for the heads up!

Is Calibers considered the "best" indoor range in Albuquerque? I haven't been there in a few years but am planning a trip to the 505 to visit family that lives there in the near future and would like to do some shooting as well, a bit on the cold side for outdoor right now. Would you guys recommend Calibers or somewhere else?

I can't wait for papitas from Sadie's, Bob's Burgers taco burgers, Dion's pizza & subs, Hot Tamales in Rio Rancho, green chile, green chile and more green chile! :p I love the food in ABQ!

Calibers is the only indoor range in Albuquerque that I'm aware of.

I guess that narrows it down. Thanks!

BOM is correct. It is the only indoor range. However we have several world class out door ranges. When you come out let us know and we can arrange a day....

Good news! http://www.buckeyefirearms.org/node/8120

Ohio Attorney General Mike DeWine and New Mexico Department of Public Safety Cabinet Secretary Gorden E. Eden, Jr. have signed an agreement that permits reciprocity between their states for citizens who have valid concealed carry permits.

I am free all week and need some practice after being at work for over three weeks. Calibers, or I can take two to Del Norte. Anytime.

Bump.

I need to properly zero a carbine, and shoot my pistol. Badly.

I'd absolutely love to not have to use the 100 yard line at the city range. :D

You really need to find yourself a patch of BLM land to shoot on.
Theres no way I'd deal with the public range mouthbreathers while surrounded by BLM and Forest Service land like we are here in NM.

Oh I know of plenty of places to shoot on BLM land, in fact I was doing it a few days ago, but I want a proper 100 yard range to make sure I have a strong zero on this rifle.

I like a 50 yard zero on my AR's.
I zero at 50 then verify on steel at 200.
A cheap Leupold laser rangefinder turns any patch of dirt into a proper 100 yard range.
