Coyotes in NM

While I'm waiting for my Gemtech 7.62 can to get out of NFA jail, I've been hunting this weekend in northern NM on BLM land for coyotes using my .223 AR and Leupold scope.

Here are the two I called in a killed...a few more showed up, but never came close enough to get shot. These were both close in...40 yards and 80 yards, shot with Nosler 40gr BT. There was no exit of course, and both simply folded up and dropped, DRT.

Please paint that rifle! Nice hunting though. Coyotes are challenging because they can be super skiddish, but super dumb at the same time.

I love it when they make dumb mistakes! Nice shooting walker! They aren't necessarily easy to hit, even at 40 yards. Did you get everything killed that came within range? Congrats again sir.
