Just an FYI, Dan's Ammo has some really cheap 870Ps right now. I almost grabbed one but my gun budget for 2016 is gone.

Two grades available. Excellent for $285 and good for $209. Just scratched my riot gun itch this week with a 1960's Winchester 1200 Riot Gun bought from a co-worker or I would be all over one of these.

After a night's sleep I'm having a really hard time not grabbing one of the $285 ones. I actually own an 870 Express Tactical already, but it rusted in a flood years ago and the finish - already pretty meh when it was new - is pitted all over from cleaning away the rust. My dad has one of these older 870 Police models and it's like a gun from a different manufacturer the quality is so different.

Yup. Those old Wingmasters are a different breed.

Wait...no, scratch that. They are terrible. Nobody should buy them. Ever. So much never that the price on them stays low or goes even lower. Because they're horrible. They'll give you scabies.

I was sorely tempted but truth to tell, I have a 2001 version Express and have never had a hiccup with it so I'd be upgrading with no real use for a second shotgun (which I only train with a few times a year as it is).

I've got a Surefire DSF-870 forend / light setup and an old Blackhawk Swift Sling on the Express.

Took the 870P out skeet shooting yesterday. First time shooting it.
It was as comical as it sounds. Mostly because of the shooter.
Managed to kill a few clay pigeons and not bruise my shoulder (much).
Verrry happy with the purchase. Thanks again to the OP.

Decent a new 870P would cost that and you are getting a surefire foreend, a case and a sling - I would ditch the Knox stock for a standard stock like a Speedfeed or a Magpul.
